- Our Director of Specialty Accounts, and our darling "OG" employee, Ansley, got married this past January. Her father goes over several emails she has sent him over the years and shows that a Father's love is even deeper than his pockets.
This is something you can read to close family but not on wedding day. Sorry but I did not like this at all. Wedding day should be special happy touching moments.
I don't agree with other comments. Heck, if you are happy, n this definitely shows you love her. Sure wish I would have had a Dad like you. Guess what, the older u get, guess who is going to be there. I bet it will be your daughter
It was pretty funny. Not sure about greatest ever.
Sorry, hands down, funniest Dad's bride speech as of today. Who knows which one will surpass it, because it is so raw and real?😂
To all of you who have negative comments, this was supposed to be funny. Sounds like the dad can afford what he’s been doing and in the end he says to both of them that he’ll pay for whatever he can. It’s a funny speech. Leave it at that! Jeepers
A Father's love for his daughter
We told our new son in law after the wedding no refunds or exchges they just celebrated their 25th anniversary this month!
This man is funny!
This is one sweet, happy , giving and kind father. She is blessed to have his love and covering.
This was a riot. 😂😂😂
Definitely not best ever.
Dad I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes God bless you dad.
I find no humor in her humiliation. He has a strange way of showing love for his daughter.
The thing is she was laughing the whole time so don’t feel like she was humiliated
Yes. Exactly what I thought
Oh I'm pretty sure she was embarrassed. The only one who should be embarrassed is dad for paying her bills in the first place.
Dad, the best thing you can do for your kid is to STOP paying her bills. You aren't teaching her a darn thing about being responsible.
I love this dad. What a great sense of humor. 😊😂
Sorry, as "cute" as this might sound, I found it embarrassing and humiliating for this daughter, and I would have vetoed this type of speech from my husband at our daughters wedding. Thank heaven, he had more class than this dad.
I agree
Totally agree, I am sure she was hurt deep down. I am sure that was not the father intention but i think was not the wisest of comments
The groom looks like a kid.
Where is the humor??? Even love???
😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
I guess his point is to remind her and everyone else in the room about how much she depends on him alone and how much he has done and how she needs his help as the provider and protector in her life and basically telling and reminding her and everyone else that she is daddy's little girl and yes he's "The Man" on the flip side he's finally relieved to be free of the financial burden and responsibilities but the way he's going about it seems a little more like flexing and less like complaining if you can listen with an open mind of course!
Dad, you have not taught your daughter to be responsible. I have seen marriages where the bride’s overspending has destroyed her marriage. This is sad.
This speech humiliated the poor couple! Dad..... what did you try to achieve..... ????
No this was awesome too funny. It's all in fun
I disagree she was laughing the whole time
I think she was uncomfortable so she had to laugh it off because she probably didn't want people to know
Quit thinking. This was HYSTERICAL !!!!@@jellyfish1781
Why would you embarrass your daughter like that? Not funny.
