So I was reading the comments and people are saying that to bad she is a horrible person but I never knew that so I am so sorry because I had no idea and I still don't know what she did and some people in my comments are thinking I am being sarcastic but I do think she is beautiful in my opinion

Yesss I just wish they had some singing in it. But Cinderella was the best live action for me cause they actually paid attention to details. Little Mermaid looks so cheap and Ariel's human dresses were like an afterthought

@Zuxra Joldasbaeva i actually just got back from seeing it the second time! I saw the 4dx version this time. It was amazing! If you can't afford to go to Disneyland at the moment then seeing the little mermaid in 4dx is an absolutely fantastic experience and will hold you over until you're able to go again. I loved it so much!
She has that kind of delicate aura, timid but dreamy like Aurora...so yeah
Um no. Elle is beautiful but she looks nothing like the animated Aurora and honestly as much as I love Elle someone else should have been casted for that role however I understand that they wanted a strong contrast to Angelina Julie’s features and in that way Elle does fit the bill.

@@victordavid5137 I don’t think so it’s fantasy and technically he was a guardian spirit so they could’ve made him more spiritual or phantasm like. Like they had magic in the movie anyway so I don’t see why they couldn’t incorporate him somehow.

i personally think those stories are not only perfect as they are, they are far too fresh in the public's mind to do any remakes. while i am sick of the remakes, i can see how a new version of the little mermaid (33 years old) or peter pan (70 years old) could be interesting, especially considering times have changed a lot since then and even what we find entertaining isn't the same. but the oldest of those movies came out only 14 years ago and the newest, (which they apparently ARE making) only 7. there is barely any gap for them to do anything new. plus, i'd much prefer a broadway show for tpatf and tangled.

I totally agree but in Halle’s case, Disney didnt even intend to cast her to make a statement about race. Halle was the first to audition and they were enamored by her and that no one came close after that. It was never about finding a black ariel, it was purely based on Halles talent.

Also Halle and Lily James are the only ones who aced this assignment although Elle gets a B for effort and Jasmine’s actress -C because while I think the dress is pretty it does not give Jasmine vibes.
