If the top 1 actor getting paid like 200 crore something, the actor at the top 10 will expect to be paid in 20 crore. It will also affect the whole industry and other technicians (Directors, actress, music directors, cinematographer) will also expect to paid in more.
And Producers doing the same mistakes again & again, they try to book the stars in a row for 3 or 4 films by offering more money than their actual worth. ( Like Vels did with Simbhu, Boney Kapoor did with Ajith)
And finally they are doing movies to recover the budget only, not for the story.

Good video brother, an eye opening debate for the growth of kollywood. We won’t know how the hero and producer will have their agreement. But Rajinikanth have actually take 1 rupees or 100 rupees only as advance salary and get the rest of the remuneration after the few days of movie release. Although it will not fully consider as profit sharing but it can still add production value of the movie. Hope other big stars does this consciously too for a better tomorrow. Cheers❤

Thing that Indian film industry bcoz people idolising the hero where Hollywood fans sees movie as a movie. In simple terms quality/content creates hype in Hollywood but in India hero/heroine face value creates hype. In Hollywood no matter how big the hero if content/quality lags people never hesitate to criticise the movie.
Always analysis vera level bro, my analysis is like almost most big stars will be out of their field within 3-5 years max.. upcoming heros will take many years to reach that star level.. so directors should use this opportunity to make change in industry through different unique stories to make the cultural shift and set standards

This is what A24 studios do. Being a small production firm huge stars act in their movies just to show case their talent. The notable fact is that the actors, directors and other crews cuts down a significant portion of their salary or whatever the income and work in these movies.

I studied game design but I know a lot of my batchmates who studied VFX and now work in the movie industry as VFX artists. Neenga sollura yella points um i one hundred percent agree with!! And coming from someone in the industry in itself is a huge plus! I struggled to believe that this movie with such a high claimed budget had such a dogshit VFX output. Again this is not me dissing the artists because It's the system and ass backwards mindset of directors and producers that is the problem. Ivanunga two weeks before release eh "we are changing the deaging scenes due to the backlash and negative feedback" nu sollum bodhey theirnji pochu mayiru maadhiri dhan output irukkum nu, cannot expect every damn shot to look Oscar worthy even if this change was done 2 months prior let alone 2 weeks!!!!!!!. As someone who paid 200rs to see this it felt like a slap to my face to see such bad VFX, Indha VFX oru 10 years munnadi vandhuchu na great for a Tamil film nu sollirukalam but to give this output in 2024 and claim that "periya actors ah nambi dhan producers new technology la kaasu poduvaanga ,so this is great for the industry " is insulting to say the least! Right from the comical Explosive intro to the worst Stadium VFX in the climax GOAT was an out and out visual disappointment. We can't say it's affecting it's based on their market but on the other hand even if their market is there for them if they take less remuneration the whole quality of movie increases . instead of taking salary they can take a percentage of share in movie collections if they believe their movie like maharaja ♥️

For example, it only talks about the purchase power in the market. What if the person, exchanges the currency in market rate and uses in a different country. Now, this increases his purchase power. This is the reason many Indians work-hard without family abroad and exchange foreign currency to INR.
The same money doesn't allow them to have a comfortable lifestyle abroad, but they can use it have a comfy lifestyle in India.
