$180 amazon log splitter pump review

Today I unbox, install, and use a hydraulic pump kit I bought off of amazon for $180.

1st time ive seen the filter on the suction side of the system , usually on the return side. may slow down the free flow of oil to the pump in colder weather

Yea thats a good point, I honestly didn't think about that because I got the log splitter in pieces. It originally had a mesh kind of filter in the pick up that was pretty rusted away, so I just put the new one on that side of the pump.

How is the pump holding out and is there enough psi ???
What size cly do you have ??? And length ??? Building a spitter

What are the size on the engine and pump size and is there 3/4 return and inlet 3/4? 😊

The engine I believe is an old 5hp pressure washer engine and yes I think they were both 3/4 in pipe thread.

Very slow for a 13 GPM pump. Looks more like 10 GPM Speed. Filter on inlet side may be starving the pump.
