I decided to get baptized through my church I have been attending from about a year. Two days prior to my baptism, they said they were able to baptize me because I am not married to my kids father. Cos I pray everyday read the Bible and I repnted I tried to get baptized two weeks ago but they saod I have to do bible study and I can read any version of the Bible that I want but I'm gonna stick to the king James version I personally like that one. I'm just wondering cos when I ask other people they don't really say anything either way I'm still gonna get baptized but if I don't will I still go to heaven?
Baptism is the remission of sins, we have faith in Jesus. Faith in Jesus saves but we still need to be washed from our sins, baptism is the transformation into new journey/life with Christ. That’s the rule of how to be saved biblically,Christianity isn’t only about repent and be saved through faith in Jesus, but also to bear fruit for the Glory of God. We can’t recieve Gifts of the spirit if we are not baptized with water. And the Gifts of the spirit are what we use to bear fruits and Gifts of the spirit comes after water Baptism. That’s what Jesus said.

Dear, beloved Brothers and sisters .If there's a wise person amongst you , I'd appreciate your opinion on subjects of stumbling for me ! Doulos irrefutably means slave in Greek , but English bibles deceptively translate this word to servant because they don't want you to know you're in slavery . Slave is the word most commonly used to describe believers , and it's mentioned 130 times in the new testament . Ants practice slavery , and coincidentally they're touted for their exceeding wisdom twice within the bible ? However , enslaved ants kill their masters to stop them from enslaving anybody else .Consequently, The lesson we can learn from wise ants is an effective way of dealing with slavery and oppression is rebellion .Revelation clearly says God's slaves will serve him forever in heaven , and Jesus referred to his disciples as slaves .Why would somebody want to work on someone's plantation for eternity ?Animals being fed in zoos shows there's a problem with working . They lose their freedom , but they gain a trouble free life which they'd not have in the wild . A slave who’s forced to work life only benefits their master because they still have problems . Better a freeman in the grave than living as a puppet and a slave . The scriptures say God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. I died at 14 in a baseball game when I was hit with about an 80 mph fastball in my left eye. I remember seeing black and hitting the ground. I knew without a shadow of a doubt I was dead and I was completely aware of what happened and my entire life at that point. During this cold darkness that I was in I felt fear that was very uneasy and immediately after I saw what looked like a star in the distance and shot to me at the speed of light and what I saw was I still cant fully describe but will try. I have not told this to many people but God put this on my spirit to share it with you. God picked me up like a baby and just held me and telepathically I could feel everything he was thinking and the amount of preciousness that he felt for me was amazing to say the least. I knew that at that second all he wanted was to hold me and nothing else mattered to him. You have no idea what real love is until he shares his feelings with you in that moment. The love a mother has for a new born is not comparable to his love and the capacitence thereof. He held me for a couple of minutes and I can tell you the amount of love that flowed from him was so incredible I was not sure how long I could take it. I know now why the Bible says that why he does not show himself to us physically. Because it would literally kill us. It looked like he was made of a billion diamonds of every color in combination with the brightest white light I ever ever witnessed. It was so bright that when I came back into my body I could not see any color for 3 days. There was a river of electricity flowing from every particle of his being and it flowed into me and it spoke as it entered me and gave me immense peace, safety, exceptence, love, joy and feelings we don't even have the capacity to experience in the flesh. I vividly remember how light I felt because the burden of sin and the flesh no longer was holding me. That was extremely pleasing in itself. Please listen to what I am speaking of because him giving us choice with hold us accountable in the end. God has also shown me visions before these events happened and they have saved lives. I tell you this because I fear the one that held me and im 100% it was God and He exists. If you are trying to wrap your mind around the Bibles validity and the existence of God. Don't! That is a trap that carnal minds will never solve. The Bible tells you that God shall send strong delusion to those who question or don't believe in him. If you would just believe with proof he will lead you. The premise that you should find proof first and then believe is not how it works. This seems to the contrary but its how God works. You see the belief itself is where the eyes are opened and the truth is revealed. I will pray that the Holy Spirit will find you and open your spiritual eyes to see. And so you may be free!!!!

Mr. Price -- Why do you refuse to say baptism in the name of Jesus Christ? What is wrong with you? Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Of course you can't or wouldn't get baptized unless you believe - this is obvious. BUT, this only applies to adults - children also need to be baptized asap and this is accomplished through believing parents. Circumcision of flesh was commanded on the eight day; did a baby make this decision? NO, the parents made the decision.

✝️ I think that the thief being saved by Jesus is beautiful , it shows Jesus, during His suffering in the flesh, that He truly is God and can Save anyone who in anguish calls out to Him. God is Great.
He does wonderful and marvellous things which we can not comprehend .❤
So, is he saying that physical water baptism is a requirement to be saved?
Yes, however I KNOW I have been blessed w/ the Holy Spirit, I was baptized as baby but this does not count as I was unable to repent at the time.
God has shown me so many of the world’s lies that even churches I once trusted He has shown me are wolves in sheep’s clothing so I’m uncertain who to now trust to Baptize he me as an adult.
@zuzuspetals1977 I'm literally dealing with the EXACT same thing. If you have any answers or suggestions please I really need help on this matter!
Hey do you have to be baptized to go to heaven?
Cool I finally got baptized last Sunday thanks for the info

He circumvented what Peter actually said in Acts 2 :38 Repent and be baptized in the "name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin"
This was "historic " as it clarified what the interpretation of the Great Commission still to this day a course of church ignorance. Jesus was saying in go out baptizing in the "singular " name ( His name) so what abput tje Godhead or Trinity role ? Jesus is the FULLNESS of the Father son and Holy Spirit titles. Is it essential for salvation , infilling of the Holy Spirit ...,no ! It's just
correct knowledge for even Prince!

Thus , review the evidence and truth for yourselves through these TH-cam links .Furthermore , if you can give a defence for your God , I'd really appreciate it .

1 Corinthians 7:22For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord's freed person; similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ's slave.
Proverbs 30:24 Four things on earth are small, yet they are exceedingly wise: The ants are not a strong species, yet they store up their food in the summer
Proverbs 6:6
Walk in the manner of the ant, O sluggard; observe its ways and be wise:

Jesus name baptism?
He left out the name of Jesus Christ
It’s a 6 minute clip of a long sermon. I’m sure he mentioned Jesus in there.
He Absolutely Preaches Jesus!!!
Why did he not read all of Acts 2:38? “Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” There is no forgiveness of sins or gift of the Holy Spirit until one is immersed in water 100% by faith. It’s a command.
Baptism of children is a nonsense and is not Biblical. There is no evidence in the New Testament of parent involvment.
