I don't consider Mr. Trebek an actor as he is at a much higher and more respected spot in my book. He didn't ACT, he was himself. A likeable, educated, classy and personable host of the most respected "game show" of all time. The way he held hiself and respected others was legendary. I believe he was universally loved and admired by everyone who ever watched the show. HUGE shoes to fill. We are all going to miss him.
Life is fragile and previous, make the best of the one life we got, be a benefit to others when we are alive, and leave behind fond memories when we are gone. That's what many of these actors felt like to me, I enjoyed their work and remember how their work enriches my life after they died.

His final episode of "Jeopardy" was broadcast just days ago. Wearing a wig to cover the effects of hair loss due to chemo, Alex insisted on remaining despite admitting that he was in such pain that between taping shows, he lay on his dressing room floor and wept from he pain. Alex, such an irreplaceable treasure. If "60 Minutes" reruns the segment where Alex reveals much of this info (and they likely will), I highly recommend it, it's a wonderful look at a truly fascinating, unique person, so much more than revealed here. We watched every episode until his last taping. A lost treasure aside many seen here; a shame they rushed the end of this report, as so many deserved special mentions ...

I was truly driven to tears to hear if Jerry Stiller’s death( “King of Queen’s” series ) & so many other series but he was an extraordinary actor & comedian! He was also Adam Sandler’s father ( sympathy goes out to both Adam & his family!) but Jerry Stiller was just incredible & downright hysterical in everything he appeared in! I lived his late wife Anne Meara in everything she appeared in too! I was sad to hear of everyone that so sadly passed away last yr & May God rest all of the souls! Amen ♥️
