We found one of these guys out in the woods half dead as a puppy and revived him to be our dog, He is one of the most agile and incredibly BITEY dogs ever. A breed to be respected like any shepherd dog, chow chow etc. These dogs could take down a pig, deer or even another large Florida cat and out here in Florida we call these dogs in particular Florida Brown Hounds. Many of our dogs that look like this are mixed American Staffordshire Terrier with American Pitbull Terrier. We found out ours was mixed this way with Chow chow and some other breeds as well. They're great animals, they require strong owners to handle them for sure. This puppy teaches me new stuff on Obedience training everyday. probably hands down one of thee most misunderstood dog breeds out there. These dogs will plant themselves on top of you or a significant other to protect YOU before they'd ever let anything try to harm you. Training them not to rip your arm off in the process of protecting you is the key i've learned xD we're still learning active commands like release, stay, lay down, jump, roll-over etc. Are your pups very glunnenious? Our pup shares and paces himself but will do crazy stuff for food xD
I have a 52 lb Boxer anstaff cross. She is almost 8. It’s only evidenced by her greying eyebrows. She is a little cannon. Tenacious. I can’t get her to out. I’m a fairly fit athletic person and the day after a goood tug session with her my arms are like rubber. She’s a great dog. I wish I had the funds to do bite sports with her she is a natural. She will climb up your body and not lose her grip. Crazy prey drive. But also super sweet and mostly really well behaved.
Mine in 50% amstaff quarter boxer quarter husky, and she has never met a dog who could out play her. And as a 41 yo fat crippled vet, I have no chance in keeping up. But she is a great companion, loves tug of war with people, plays with little dogs gentle and big dogs as hard as they'll go. And then, she gives the sweetest, gentlest little noses and kisses to a 3 week old niece. I'll never be without a bull terrier of some flavor!

You got to love staffy’s, best dogs ever.
I love a staffy with the right human. 💪
@@CappuccinoDogTraining correct but staffy’s will always give their love and loyalty to you, they are so affectionate.
These are amstaffs, not Staffies. Staffy refers to English Staffordshire terriers
❤❤❤❤❤

She will never out! Like ever. I lose every time. I let go and walk away and she comes and punches me with whatever the toy is lol

As a German Amstaff owner, that’s so funny that you speak German with your dog. 😃 I also use the „stand“ command 😅
All of our dogs are bi lingual. We use German for their sport commands and English for their casual pet commands.
