Thank you so much for this video. There's almost no documentation anywhere else on how to set this up. I got this semi-working with a hi-hat pedal and hi-hat external pad, however when I close the hi-hat pedal it mutes the bass drum. I factory reset and followed your video again and the same issue occurs. I noticed if I go back under Kit/Other/KIT7-1 and set Layer Switch to Off it fixes the kick drum, but I lose the dynamic hi-hat layers like you demonstrated at the end of your video. When I am under Kit/Other/KIT7-1 both my kick drum and hi-hat pedal show input 17 for some reason. My kick is on input 17 but my hi-hat pedal is in the hi-hat pedal input and shows as HHCL everywhere else.. Any ideas what's going on and how to fix this?

I'm glad that this video helped you. I bought HH65 along with dtx multi 12, some years back. So I am not familiar with the price. And I don't think it's available right now for purchase too. Btw please do subscribe for future posts. 😎😎

Any ideas how could I solve it? I would appreciate for any ideas!
I hope i got your question right.. So you are saying that the hi hat when pressing with foot is sounding low..? If that is so.. Then you need to assign hi hat close sample to that hi hat close midi note. I guess if you repeat the process in my video you will be able to get it sorted. Let me know if you still didn't find it useful. 😎

Does it have to be set up only on pad 9???? Can it be set up on ANY PAD??
No you can set it up on any Pad, Follow same process.
