      I do have the alarm sounds in there! Unfortunately they just aren't as loud as I'd like them to be.

    It's funny that it never occurred to me just how strange the Autumn's layout is, you go from a cryo bay, through a few connecting passageways, which is fine, then you go through a fairly large armoury situated right next to the bridge, which is a bit strange, but on your way back out of the bridge, you pass through a mess hall of all things, and that being so close to what you'd expect to be secure duty areas of the ship is just really weird. You don't come across any other off duty areas that I remember, either, no recreational areas, no crew quarters, heck, not even toilets or showers, just this weirdly out of place mess hall.

      Yeah, if I had budget for more on the map, I wanted to connect some of the bigger corridors and have some offshoot rooms like crew quarters or something. Add some logic to the place. Certainly some of those lay behind any number of locked doors, but it just feels off. especially with an armory with ZERO weapons in it, and all those barriers just laying about

      I always just assumed that everything you see in the first mission was just the command crew areas. All the marines, armories, mess hall etc were for that specific department, and the areas you see in the maw are the commons like engineering and such.

      it's been heavily requested, so it's something I will be adding in the future, potentially as an alternative spooky/Maw-esque map. Need to optimize the map a bit so I can add in some more visual flair for that though first, and then find a good Infection game mode prefab to use for it.

    This is amazingly accurate.
    Having some of the bodies laying around with no live Marines or Covenant almost makes it feel like a dream sequence, and the music you have in the background of the video makes it feel like Chief going through his memories.
    For some reason watching this, I get reminded of Big Boss' speech from the Truth ending of Metal Gear Solid V, with a whole _"Now do you remember? What you are? What you're meant to do?"_ vibe.

      Thank you for the compliment, made my day! I never played any of the Metal Gear games, but I get the vibe you're going for haha. I released an infection version of the map as well that you can see the video for on my channel, as well as the first area you crash land on Halo. I'm working on a Banished version of the Truth and Reconciliation Hangar at the moment that I'm hoping to have done sometime in May, so stick around for those as well.

      Thank you! Doing full campaign missions will be daunting since devs have the benefit of having loading areas. Tragically this level of detail won't be possible for a full map without a lot of work. But I'm hoping that when campaign A.I. comes that I'm able to work with UneeQ (the guy doing all the killer 1:1 multiplayer remakes)
      Currently working on a map of the crash site from the second Halo CE mission, with a zeta halo flair to it. Hoping to have that up in the next two weeks

      Thank you! I really wish I could've expanded the map more, but I've hit the budget with what i have so far. I'm slowly going through and trying to cut down on asset usage in some areas to try and bring more in. Hoping to update the map at some point this week and get some much needed fixes made to it.

    So beautiful! I love passionate proyects like this one! It could totally work for a neutral bomb or neutral flag game type, the objective spawns on the armory while players start on the cryotubes and the bridge.
    Rockets and gravity hammer might be OP on a map this size tho.

      Yeah I've been slowly tweaking the map as I do play tests and hear feedback. I've had to add more respawns closer to mid based on the neutral CTF I ran, so it's a learning process

    If you had more memory/space to work with in terms of spawning things, you could have damn near recreated the whole first mission (which if I remember correctly, is the smallest mission in CE in terms of playable space). Gorgeous layout in my opinion and beautifully scaled to meet with Infinite's advanced movement.

      I wanted to build the whole thing but it very quickly escalated out of control for my first map lol. I'm currently working on the crash site for the second mission now, I have some pics up on halos subreddit, and I'll be posting a video with the published map by the end of the week as well

      I would LOVE to do that. But it would never be at this level of detail in forge. It'd be just a lot of simple blocks. But with some of the new ripping tools we can now pull all of CEAs models from campaign, so someone could combine the first and last missions and use that to build out every hall in like, unity or unreal. Maybe I'll make that a pet project one day

    It's great. It just needs a working CTF script. It says it has one but when i tried to host a lobby for my favorite CTF gamemode it wouldn't work. Phineas and Ferb would be dissapointed

      there's a ton of issues with the fx emitters currently. They sometimes won't load or cache properly, and you'll get a lower quality version loaded in that looks cheaper. The current map I am working on I did some fake water and half the time the emitters don't even load.

    try retexturing it to be less yellow and more greys and metal look like CE, also i see you used CEA for your inspiration cause the wall strut things that aren't there in the original, i never liked that updated geo texture CEA got so much wrong, Kashieras remake of CE in h3 that just came out is top tier

      Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to be keeping the yellow to have contrast and go for the aesthetic and direction I wanted though. Everyone's split on this aesthetic, so I can't please everyone.

    A few problems I have is that everything is way too shiny for a ship that is getting attacked bye aliens that have plasma weapons leaving scorch marks on everything aswell as marines getting killed and blown up. Cheifs cryopods are way too high up and should be lowerd.
    Other then that everything looks amazing

      Unfortunately they don't have options for decals of burn marks, and the dirt options don't always stretch right. Down the road I plant to make a version more reminiscent of the Maw, for a more spooky zombie version that'll hopefully work better. But till then I'm pausing on it because I hope to work with UneeQ on campaign maps down the road when campaign A.I. comes out

    Maybe with dev tools and “infinite” forge in Infinite like in reach using mods could be able to make whole map? But thats not gonna happen if they wont give us those tools, then you could be able to add ai aswell, but first they need to give us same tools like in reach

      Honestly, it'd be a long ways off, and we already do have a good budget size now. This was my first map in infinite and i did want to try and push the limits. I've optimized it a bit since the initial publish so that I could do more to it for other game modes. The reality is, they're able to have large maps in campaign because of loading points, we're fundamentally limited in multiplayer because all areas are loaded at once for performance reasons. I plan to work with some other prominent forgers down the line to do campaign maps with campaign A.I. arrives, and we'll no doubt be cutting down on some of the complexity of it then. The reality is the hallways need to be simplified ten-fold if we are going to repeat them for a whole ship. It's a future project that will definitely happen, just needs more minds for it than just me by myself atm.

      @@KOAX117 they promised us ai in forge in Infinite i think Halo follower or mint or Xperia said it in video about new info, that ai will come but it will take time as ai (bots ) are already in multiplayer so there is not much work to be done to add banished/covenant ai to multiplayer , hopefully then you will update it and make “demo” of first mission as this is icnredible work

      ​@@dejvo1443There are certain aspects where they need to limit the budget for lower end machines and older consoles to be able to run at consistent framerates, so I don't think we'll see anything crazy. Maybe some optimization on certain things so that they take up less budget and therefore things "feel" like we have a larger budget. But, I don't see maps like Truth and Reconciliation or Assault on the Control Room being doable in their entirety. The best thing we do is break em up into segments like the loading points in the original mission, and then just run it as a playlist in the Custom Game Browser or something.
      And yeah campaign A.I. is confirmed, but that A.I. is running on different code than the bots. They have behavior aspects to factor into things like navmesh and the nodegraph that definitely go a lot farther. People have done there own stuff in MCC sure, but that's with some far simpler things from years and years back, I'll give them the credit to the fact that they need to get it to a somewhat playable state before just tossing it in. But once we get it, you bet your butt I am going to make this as a "demo" for sure. Though, I spoke with UneeQ (the forger who has been making accurate 1:1 recreations of old maps) about teaming up on campaign missions when campaign A.I. comes out to go all out on full missions. The forger who did the Maw warthog run did an awesome job, and I'd love to build the parts of the mission before that as well.

      There's an object in the forge pallet under destructibles called creature tank. I combined that with a few other objects. Some people have since made better looking cryopods that are really impressive and more accurate!

      Thank you! and at this point, probably not. I'm pretty much at budget map wise, so I can't add more as many would like. A.I. could be added, but Infinite has kinda burned me out with the issues it has had. My buddy and I were working on a Call of Duty Nacht der Untoten zombies map that we want to add A.I. too, but so much of it is really bugged.
      Honestly, I know UneeQ was working on a PoA map at one point and he and his team are really talented. I'd much so more point people towards his work at this point since i've moved onto other things.

      The teen rating really doesn't mean much for the overall gameplay and atmosphere

      @@Iamtoast73 Halo doesn't really have drugs, alcohol, or excessive violence tho. You're mad just because it's rated differently even though there's still torture, in fact you go to the site of one such torture facility and find a Spartan there who dies in your arms from the trauma, there's still plenty of blood, you can even place corpses in Forge as seen in this video. Halo was never about being ultra violent, all the core themes and gameplay is carried over

    Bravo, this is just unbelievable Forging skills. 🎩🤏
    I can’t wait for campaign AI. In the meantime, this would make for a terrifying Infection map.
    How long did it take to build?

      Definitely going to get infection working on it in the future. Along with campaign a.i. when that comes
      And oof I don't know the time really. I started it on PC and steam hours roughly say about 100 hours?
