There's something very genuine about this episode. Thank you for spilling the pros and cons of a relationship. I think it's not always the emotion since it's it fluctuates. I think it's about the commitment to be there for each other no matter what and inspite of. At the end, love still persists. It's hard to find an ideal person for there's no such thing. I think finding that things are not perfect and yet there's still the strong desire to go on together will both keep you binded. Much love to both of you!

The lovely couple and always looking forward to your vlog when i am home. My husband and i had a long-distance relationship a lot of bumps in the road but we made it to 28 years now.
hahaha I can so relate with ANO, mine or some of my friends here in US "you know the thing" . My children get frustrated when couldn't figure it out what nanay trying to say. Trusts and communication are the one that works for us. We filipina are dedicated caring resourceful lover as long you dont broke our trust guarantees will last forever. Ave looks like my daughter and they have similar personality when I watched her first skiing brought tears bring back memory. I can tell you guys will go far one important advice when you have problem talk it out among you never let a third party influence you out. Never go to bed angry to each other work it out. I am messy person just like you Martin and my other significant half the neat one who rolled and stack his clothes away, but you know what that's life were not perfect. I love you guys and enjoy watching your vlogs. Like you, I am bi-racial, having spent half of my life in the Philippines and my other half in NYC. Plus the fact that I married a Norwegian-American (now deceased) who was a USNavy guy, life for me is straightforward. But as you mentioned, communication is of utmost importance.
We dated for 3-1/2 years, but still married life was an adjustment, as you bare all, even the deepest secret you have.
And the most important thing is to trust yourselves and God in your relationship so you won't be derailed. Understanding each other and each one's idiosyncracies is the most important thing.

Since I stumbled your vlog I become addicted to both of you. Martin getting to know each other requires understanding and patience. But I like the way you treat our kababayan, you are a good nature man, good looking and caring. I was married to an English man and we were married for 25 years and 9 months sadly I lost him 2017. You will get through the language barrier and I think Ave is getting better and her English is actually good. I did struggle as well when I first came here in UK because of huge differences of culture. I went to university here in UK and worked for big organisation i.e. NHS for 20 years. In life you learn as you go along.
