    I started primary school in Dadieso, and my father was then the Border Guards Commander, and Kwame Nkrumah use to visit his bother the king at night, my father use to tell me, we over in the barracks and there was a well in front, two gates, front and back, we use the back gate to go to school....

    This video just brought my memories back then in dadieso where I start my basic school in purity international school were staying at black behind the chief palace and also stayed at atechemu zongo and later went to school in the D/A.government school. At that time there was this woman who use sell awai ne toloo she goes by the name Akoli
    Her food so good my brother was a driver then he still drives to that place from Kumasi to Dadieso his name is Maxwell Asante his popularly known as bra yaw

    I never knew that town has such a great history. When I go to Ghana, I will visit there. As an Asante I heard of King Ebiri Moro invasion in 1735 or 1736 but never knew it was too deep Cash Cow of Alexandria Virginia United States

    We should avoid saying Abimoro went to Kumasi to ransack. As a leader who had conquered the south west and was controlling the that trade route, I don’t believe he went there to steal as depicted in history books
    Attacking people and taking away items and slaves were the order of the day. Aside the items they took from Kumasi, they also carried away about 2000 women and young people as slaves.
    When the Asantes attacked people and took away items and slaves, it is referred to as conquering but when Abimoro did to them what they do to people, they decided to refer to him as a thief in order to tarnish his image
    If Abimoro went to Kumasi to ransack, then every tribe that also conquered people and took away slaves and items also ransacked
    Let’s respect our brave leaders who made us who we are today
