Girl you are a girl after my own heart I hate when glitter gets all over the place. You find glitter even after winter has long gone. Can't wait to try this method. You rock.
These are absolutely beautiful. I have not really been interested in mandala and thought that was all the dotting kind of art was for. you show how it can be used in all kinds of other ways. I am totally gonna get some stuff and try this! Thank you for showing me another creative outlet that I think i will like. Currently I do quilling. I've been doing that for 5 months and I even thought of ways to mix quilling with some dotting in the same art piece. Thanks again for sharing this!
I’ve always wanted to try quilling! I’ve done something similar as a craft with my kids but it would be fun to do the real thing. Dotting and quilling could get together and make art babies don’t you think? Dot quilling? Please figure it out and let me know! ❤️
We are so very Grateful to you. Your kindness, your teaching, your willingness to share you secrets. Merry Christmas to you and yours. You sure put me in the Christmas Season. You're a blessing to all of us.
Oh I loved this video!! I have your bottles and the tips, I've never used them!! Oh boy I will now!! I have some ornaments to do, now I know how!! Thanks Sue!! Yayyy!!!
I love your work with the plastic bulbs. They are so pretty. Thank you for showing us. Ive done the glitter part before. Now To doctor them up like you did.
I've been making the better with the minwax for a couple of years, but the way you mixed the glitters and did hombre shades, etc is gorgeous. I just love the addition of the swirls and dots it takes them from being beautiful to incredibly high-end, gorgeous ornaments anyone would love to have. I can't wait to try these!
I made these a couple years ago and I used white gesso with a nail dotting tool, and I was able to paint with regular acrylic on top of that when I wanted colors. I also used acrylic paint pens for my words and they all seem to be holding up still. I'll try the folk art brand this time too.
Just found this site and I'm impressed with what I'm seeing. Am an Los crafter and love to learn new things and techniques to make your world more beautiful
Love these. I too have a love/ hate relationship with glitter. Love the look and sparkle but know it is bad for the environment and people. At least this project, the glitter is encapsulated. Just wear a mask...best of both worlds.
I love these ornaments. I want to try this project. Stepping out of your comfort isn't all that bad. I'm not much of a painter. You'd be surprised how much you possess when you try something new. Great job.
Dotting isn’t like traditional painting where you need to have super specialized knowledge of a million things. I believe anyone can dot paint. I know you’ll love it 😊
I absolutely LOVE these. They look stunning! Your voice is so calming and encouraging. I can’t wait to try these. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing talent!!
My first exposure to this artisan craft. I am so impressed with your presentation. Clear, concise and I might say, relaxing. Will visit you again. I loved it!!!
WOW ! Best video I've seen, I like how detailed your explanation of what your doing , why your using different tools and their purpose. I have all the tools except the paint, will give this a try . THANKS AGAIN , GREAT JOB!
So very much love this idea, I came across different size plastic ornament balls at dollar tree. Thanks for sharing, am planning to do as Christmas gifts for family.😘
I have 2 boxes of the Arteza glitter boxes and will try the glitter in the ornaments soon. I have clear glass C7 or C9 light bulbs I got and will most lightly use the glitter on the outside then the bigger ornaments I have will use the glitter on the inside
I tried midge Padgett and it didn’t work as well. Colors came out light and some didn’t dry all the way. So I got the minwax and it is beautiful. Bright colors
Simply gorgeous applications to these "dotting designs" | new application for me and look forward to your "teaching videos" for inspiration, thank you NY-USA
These are absolutely stunning! I already have the supplies to make a bunch of glitter ornaments, but this is my first introduction to dotting. Intrigued to learn more!
great ideas with your dotting tools . looks like i'm going to order more tools. when i'm finished watching all the turtorials i should be ready to get started!!!!!! thank you so much for all your ideas and techniques.
I love your ornaments! I have made glitter ornaments years ago, glitter inside, but I used liquid floor wax. I never thought I could paint the outside as have you shown. I hope I can paint them as pretty as you have. I accidentally found your channel 😁, I subscribed and definitely a THUMBS UP!.I can't wait to watch more. Thank you for your time, inspiration, instructing and sharing! Happy holidays.🎄
Stunning... so when dry you wipe off chalk paint. Your good at this. I have never even did dotting. Do you think the dimensional paint would work ? Thanks for inspiration..hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
