@ for some reason I had stuck in my head that there was only Koh Rong 🤪. For 5 yrs I planned on Thailand and because I love the Khmer culture I was planning on the Issan province. Cambodia is a slight shift but you’re helping me A LOT! Thanks!😉
What a lovely place for a little break. Hostel right on the beach, bliss. Didn't get a tattoo? lol.... Thanks for sharing your vlogs, and all the work you put in has been much appreciated. Have a good Christmas and a great 2025. Safe and happy travels....
Hahaha no tattoos yes I had a wonderful time definitely a lot of work putting all the videos together afterwards. But I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you for watching, and following.
Looks like you had a great short break on the beautiful island. Sihanoukville reminded me of my short time there in late 1979. It's been a lot of changes since I left and hopefully I'll return to visit the city someday. Welcome back to SR🎉
@@nncadi1 GoPro 10 in a cheap dive housing. We only went to about 8m. My GoPro is very well used the batteries over heated once. I will need to start saving for a replacement soon.
Hi Nan, can you please give me an idea of how bad the mosquitoes are or not in Siem Reap? I’m coming long term soon and just want to be as prepared as possible. Thanks for all your information on the videos, it is really helpful!
When I first arrived I did get bitten but over time that got less and less and now it’s only now and again. I have no idea why that is maybe it’s the foods that you eat maybe the mosquitoes just like tourists!!! Mosquitoes are a lot worse in the wet season as well. Hope that’s helpful. I did get bitten quite a lot on the islands.
@@nanwithabackpack thanks a lot, they love me, so I think I will need to use the dreaded deet. I so appreciate your videos, you can see you are an easygoing traveller who respects the culture.
I loved your underwater expedition!!👏x

In Cambodia, and especially Koh Rong, can I get by with US dollars only or would I also need Cambodian riels?
@@Mai-hb8ij yes US Dollars are fine but expect to get change in riel.
