I had a similar story to tell. .one day while I was walking with my dog,i saw a girl homeless on the street... When I saw her face, I immediately recognized that she has some education... So I asked her, she told she had completed 12th grade.. My dog also loved her.... Then I took a decision to make her complete her college graduation..also I asked her if she can stay with me in my house, since I was alone in a big house.. At first she denied, but afterwards she agreed... After that I told my mother, she was very happy...life went on..now we completed 5 years of togetherness, she and I completed college and now she is working in a company with high salary... Now she has her own home, I came back to my own place, now every day we contact each other.... Just wanted to share my story..... ✌✌

A nurse by trade, l didn't think I would be employed after Social Security stepped in and rescued me. I applied for a position and was just hired yesterday, but I still face bankruptcy because of the credit card debt I encurd trying to heal before aid started. There's a channel from a guy that films homeless people and collect their stories, it's called "Invisible People", look it up. A guy he interviewed mentioned that the first thing you learn when you first have to sleep on the streets is to use your shoes as pillow, because otherwise they'll steal them. They'll steal your shoes. That's how low it goes. Some people living in the streets are just normal people that had it rough and are completely broke. Some others are hyenas, junkies and alcoholics that would stab someone just to steal their pants. Imagine how hard it is for the former to defend from the latter when they have literally nothing.

Housing still too expensive. Kept on even In. Winter. Applied for it housing waited. Finally got into something. Today I own my own place at 55 yrs old. But moved to a area w high pverty to have a low house payment I'll may sell now and move to a better neighborhood. Lots of patience growing praying and working part time as I've been able. Not easy. But doable.
GREAT WORK!!! Wow, that was totally awesome and made her day, week and month. Not only the money, clothes, food and room, but the company she had during that period. She was able to talk and be talked to like a human being!!! Thank you!!! That made my day! I am in the middle of trying to help a family with a 3 year old daughter who live in their car. It is tough, but this takes steps, and they do not do drugs or drink. Death and jobs loss put them on the streets. We got this though. 🙂 Thanks again, you are awesome! Keep being you! 🙏🙏

I cared for a homeless couple the woman was pregnant, I fed them, got them medicine, got them some hygiene care, even saved them from police officers, “Told their with me” they gave birth to a healthy daughter that was years ago, just saw them not too long ago they finally got a house, stable jobs, and had another healthy baby. Edit: Little life hack for you that travel and need to stay in hotels. Take the soap and shampoo they give you and the next time you help out a homeless person give them those it never hurts to hand them something they can clean up with
It was so wonderful to watch that lady get some new clothes, I live in Toronto and I give money to people who need it, food I have given a few times , it’s a good feeling giving people something ❤😊

There are a dozen places a pregnant woman can go. She makes more money panhandling. She probably considers this her job. Some of these people make hundreds of dollars a day from hand outs.
They didn't help her, helping means paying for her to live at a hostel for the homeless or buy her a house! They just left her in the streets pregnant and vulnerable with a few buks and a outfit!!!

@@loriodell1688 When people say they come from a good home, often it could mean it looks good on the surface yet is emotionally abusive. They may not even be aware of it either because it's always been the norm for them. What I'm saying is if people feel they could go home, they would. So I feel there is more to her story but she just met these people and is on camera so maybe she felt the need to say that she is from a good home because so many people are judgmental. I'm sad that the reality is more people are concerned for the baby and not how helping the mother would be the best opportunity the baby has in life, as that relationship will impact the kid whether she's able to be around or not. Kids are curious and always want to know more about where they biologically came from. Sometimes even without knowing they end up repeating the exact same things due to genetic passing of trauma. I wish I had the resources and money to help everyone I became aware of needing help. I would not feel good about leaving her on the street. Though buying her new clothes will be great for her self esteem, it is only temporary and she needs the type of help a lot of us are unable to give because we too are often struggling. I'm hoping some agency that cares for both mother and child will find her and help give her the tools she needs to get out of the streets because it is a rough life even having a place to live at times. One difference between homeless people and us hiding in apartments is that you can visibly see these people's struggles and on the plus that means they are out there daily asking for help, where a lot of us just struggle alone without opportunity for these struggles to be seen, trying to make it in life.

Some people do not care unless they have to face the exact situation and experience it on their own. I feed homeless people and my aunt told me I am making them lazy and there's no use helping them because it if their fault they did not think about their future. We never know the homeless person''s story. Some people run away from home due to abuse and domestic violence. I do it to accumulate good karma since I do not believe in a god. I had a similar story to tell. .one day while I was walking with my dog,i saw a girl homeless on the street... When I saw her face, I immediately recognized that she has some education... So I asked her, she told she had completed 12th grade.. My dog also loved her.... Then I took a decision to make her complete her college graduation..also I asked her if she can stay with me in my house, since I was alone in a big house.. At first she denied, but afterwards she agreed... After that I told my mother, she was very happy...life went on..now we completed 5 years of togetherness, she and I completed college and now she is working in a company with high salary... Now she has her own home, I came back to my own place, now every day we contact each other....

My tears are flowing with gratitude for the simple studio apartment I have after loosing my job to long covid. A nurse by trade, l didn't think I would be employed after Social Security stepped in and rescued me. I applied for a position and was just hired yesterday, but I still face bankruptcy because of the credit card debt I encurd trying to heal before aid started. Still so grateful and I want to bless you for pointing out just how lucky I am.

There's a channel from a guy that films homeless people and collect their stories, it's called "Invisible People", look it up. A guy he interviewed mentioned that the first thing you learn when you first have to sleep on the streets is to use your shoes as pillow, because otherwise they'll steal them. They'll steal your shoes. That's how low it goes.
Some people living in the streets are just normal people that had it rough and are completely broke. Some others are hyenas, junkies and alcoholics that would stab someone just to steal their pants. Imagine how hard it is for the former to defend from the latter when they have literally nothing.

Her baby will be born addicted to heroine or whatever drug she takes, this means the baby could have permanent brain damage, behavioural problems and that is even after it is detoxed.

@@ThePositivewave lots of praying. Lost my housing waiting for disability as well as landlord refusi g a salvation army housing voucher for rent. Camped out. Got a job saved money. Housing still too expensive. Kept on even In. Winter. Applied for it housing waited. Finally got into something. Today I own my own place at 55 yrs old. But moved to a area w high pverty to have a low house payment I'll may sell now and move to a better neighborhood. Lots of patience growing praying and working part time as I've been able. Not easy. But doable.

She was able to talk and be talked to like a human being!!! Thank you!!! That made my day! I am in the middle of trying to help a family with a 3 year old daughter who live in their car. I cared for a homeless couple the woman was pregnant, I fed them, got them medicine, got them some hygiene care, even saved them from police officers, “Told their with me” they gave birth to a healthy daughter that was years ago, just saw them not too long ago they finally got a house, stable jobs, and had another healthy baby.
Edit: Little life hack for you that travel and need to stay in hotels. Take the soap and shampoo they give you and the next time you help out a homeless person give them those it never hurts to hand them something they can clean up with

There are a dozen places a pregnant woman can go. She makes more money panhandling. She probably considers this her job. Some of these people make hundreds of dollars a day from hand outs.

@@loriodell1688 When people say they come from a good home, often it could mean it looks good on the surface yet is emotionally abusive. They may not even be aware of it either because it's always been the norm for them. What I'm saying is if people feel they could go home, they would. So I feel there is more to her story but she just met these people and is on camera so maybe she felt the need to say that she is from a good home because so many people are judgmental. I'm sad that the reality is more people are concerned for the baby and not how helping the mother would be the best opportunity the baby has in life, as that relationship will impact the kid whether she's able to be around or not. Kids are curious and always want to know more about where they biologically came from. Sometimes even without knowing they end up repeating the exact same things due to genetic passing of trauma. I wish I had the resources and money to help everyone I became aware of needing help. I would not feel good about leaving her on the street. Though buying her new clothes will be great for her self esteem, it is only temporary and she needs the type of help a lot of us are unable to give because we too are often struggling. I'm hoping some agency that cares for both mother and child will find her and help give her the tools she needs to get out of the streets because it is a rough life even having a place to live at times. One difference between homeless people and us hiding in apartments is that you can visibly see these people's struggles and on the plus that means they are out there daily asking for help, where a lot of us just struggle alone without opportunity for these struggles to be seen, trying to make it in life.
If I lived close to this woman, I'd help her out. I pray for you and her baby. I wish her a good future.

Some parents don't care about their daughters. Maybe because they don't have the ability to function as parents. Why in the heck would you choose to be pregnant when you’re homeless? Why can’t you close your legs or use condom? I don’t feel bad for her.she is selfish, she thinks about herself and not the baby.
@@flobekoe I worked in Social Services and you never know what can happen in life. You can be happily married then your boyfriend dies or you can have your job and the factory shuts down, then you are homeless. I sending blessing and praise to the kindness towards other people. Be blessed.

I hate people trying to diminish these acts of kindness because its recorded and "only for likes." So the fuck what? Guess who didn't care? The poor lady in need of help. I actually love that its become a trend no matter the motives behind it. Someone in need of help gets help.
Pregnant women should always be the priority in giving help and assistance as they are vulnerable to disease considering the place where she lives. Good decision men.
I did admire her resilience: still she wants to have the baby (others would have opted for other options), she's a tough cookie (she faced persons who were mean to her), she wants to repay the kindness she received (reach out to others in need). Hopefully things changed for the better for this young woman. I will keep her in my prayers too!

Some people do not care unless they have to face the exact situation and experience it on their own. I feed homeless people and my aunt told me I am making them lazy and there's no use helping them because it if their fault they did not think about their future. We never know the homeless person''s story. Some people run away from home due to abuse and domestic violence. I do it to accumulate good karma since I do not believe in a god. If god can bless people he should not make people suffer .
@Brian Cahoon Yes majority of people do not help but few might help. Even to help someone people should have that mindset or try to understand the situation of others. Unfortunately government must help but they don't care. Did you manage to get a home?
