💎 I can't believe this is the finale of my Basic vs Luxury series! I originally thought I could fit everything into one video - boy, was I wrong! It's taken me 3 videos to share all the various diamond painting accessories and tools I've used and/or collected over the last several years. Some are great and turned into must-haves, but some have turned into paperweights or dust collectors. Which is which? Let's find out!! 💎

Could you demonstrate how to use the Mica powder and how to frame diamond paintings? Thanks!
I've done a video on the mica powder that you can find here: th-cam.com/video/XkcF07Nz9p4/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for doing this series! They were helpful! The seam ripper tip was awesome and started using right after I saw your video. One thing I use that I haven’t seen anyone mention is a drawer liner (not the sticky/sticker type one) I have cut a few to place under my trays and light pad or canvas. It helps things from sliding around.
Ooh, I should have mentioned those. I have had the non-stick ones that I used when I was still using my drafting table. See - there’s so many things!! Thanks for watching!!
I use those all the time! I cut the pieces to match my trays and then I can set my tray tight on the completed part of the canvas next to the part I’m working on. Those come in handy for keeping my drill pen handy and from rolling off my area. I must have a bunch of them cut up all over!
Loved this. Loved the series. 😊 Daphne how long did it take for you to be good with square diamonds? I finally got through one section of confetti heavy diamonds. I'm getting neater but it seems to be a process!! For my sanity I've got to have multiple projects. I've got a Easter bunny painting to kit up. I hope your knee is much better. ❤💗
Honestly, I did several square drill kits as a newbie. My first DAC was a square - I didn’t even know what AB drills were! It just takes practice, whether it’s round or square. Good luck and thanks for watching!!
TY for doing this awesome 3-part series! Loved it all.....I've been at this for 3-4 yrs now, but still learned alot!
Maybe once you move & are settled & all set back up...is it possible that you may do a tour of your craft room for us?
Yes, definitely!! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for doing this series, it has been so helpful to see all the different options out there.
Keep up the fantastic work as I enjoy all of your content and look forward to seeing what you have coming up next. 👏🏻😊
I’m glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for this series. I loved it.
@@RPrice-qz8wg Thanks for watching!!
A few things I do to make my diamond painting easier....
1. I buy the DMC color code stickers to use on my drill containers. Works almost all the time.
2. I purchased NyxNotions trays in white and one other color, all with the higher sides. I use the white trays the most but really like the color trays for white and light colored drills. NyxNotions does have lids for her trays.
3. I have one pen just for ABs. I have a single placer and a multi placer on it and fill it with museum putty. It just stays filled with putty and I use it exclusively for ABs. I don't have to fuss with removing putty. I like wax for regular drills so a separate pen with putty for ABs makes it easier for me.
4. Angled placers have been a godsend for me with both arthritis and carpel tunnel.
Maybe these tips will help someone else. Happy painting!
Thanks for sharing!!
Hey there Daphne thank y ou so much for sharing this amazing information! Thank you!!
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for sharing all the things, Daphne! I love how we collect within our collections! ❤
Yes! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you so much for sharing all your goodies. Now I have to go back through the vids to make my list. Some of the things I have but you have given me some great ideas on other things I didn’t even think of. Bless you for taking the time to do this for us ❤️❤️ Theresa
It was interesting to see how many things I’ve collected over just the few years I’ve been diamond painting! Thanks for watching!!
I love the lids from Sasha’s 3D printing for the Elizabeth Ward containers. They work with the EW knock off storage too! Necessary? No, but I love the hinge so you can lift the lid all the way and hey - they are just pretty and fun!
They are fun! Thanks for watching!!
I saw someone talking about those in a DP group but they didn’t mention pricing- do you mind saying how much 50 tops runs from that ship?
Thanks for this series. Another great episode.
It’s amazing how many accessories and tools there are! Thanks for watching!!
Good information. Thank you for sharing this with us. Have a good weekend.
Thanks for watching!!
Great series...thats for doing them...would you be interested in showing your completed portfolios?
I usually share all my completions for the year in a video. Thanks for watching!!
I’m new to your Channel!! I binged watched last night and woke up went back to watching. Ive diamond painted for 5 years now and participated with TH-cam diamond painters for several years not sure how I just found you. Great tips and enjoyed your thinking outside the box with diff type videos. Always trying to learn something new or finding new challenges to keep the hobby interesting.
One question do you have a video on how you use the static spray. I did a an older dac last month that drove me crazy with the grays being full of static and stuck to together. Thank you for your time. Keep up the great work!
Welcome to the channel! I did a short video on how I use the static guard spray. You can find it here: th-cam.com/users/shorts7MxW1lXFPRo Thanks for watching!!
This was a great series! Thank you!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!
New subscriber here. Loved the series
Welcome and thanks for watching!!
Fantastic series, thank you 😊
I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!
Thank You so much, Daphne! I have completely enjoyed this series. Some of the things I knew about, some me not. I really appreciate all the time, effort and thought you use to make these videos.
Question: on your large portfolio do you know the largest investment painting you have stored in it? Also, can you tell me where you bought your TV case that you store your largest paintings in. So far my largest is 70*98. It’s not completely finished. I have no idea how to store it or if I’m going to frame it.
Again, Thank You so much!
There should be a link in the description box to my TV bag storage. I think the largest painting I’ve done that is stored is maybe Vibrant Italy? I’ve done larger, but they are all framed. Thanks for watching!!
I love the little funnel stands which make pouring diamonds from the plastic square packets into our chosen containers much, much easier!
I just wish the pen manufacturers would design caps to go over the tops of pens so as to prevent the wax from drying out in between sessions.
BTW, I love your vids!!! 😘
I love my funnels! Thanks for watching!!
Such a great video!! Thank u!!
Thanks for watching!!
Thank you... I am new to diamond painting (8 months in) and I found this very informative!!
I’m glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!!
Have you seen the roller that is shaped like a pizza cutter? I saw that and had to laugh. It was as if the user just didn't want to spend time placing the drills. It looked neat, though!
I’ve actually used a couple of those - they take a bit of getting used to, but they aren’t bad if you’re doing a lot of multiplacing. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for this series of video's. It is nice and interesting to see what you have and what there is on the market.
It is! Thanks for watching!!
😻😻😻
Thanks so very much.
Thanks for watching!!
Loved this series, thank you 😊 Craft Buddy still do the crystal art sealer, I love it use it all the time and drills retain their sparkle 😊
It worked really well - just is hard to get ahold of here in the US! Thanks for watching!!
How do you use the static guard for staticy drills? Can you explain? or do you have a video about it that you can point me to? Also, same for the seam ripper. Thank you.
I think I've mentioned (and maybe demonstrated?) both of these tips in a kitup/preparation video, but I'm not sure which one. For the static spray, I just spray it on a cotton swab and then swirl the swab in the bag of drills to get rid of the static. For the seam ripper, slip it between the canvas and the cover sheet - it will cut through the cover sheet without cutting your canvas. Thanks for watching!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous thank you
Great series and tips! I picked up some Bella Art clamps and a grinder!
Awesome! Like I said, some of the tools I don’t use very often, but they come in handy! Thanks for watching!!
Hi daphne, what do you think of magnetic frames as storing your finished works
I’ve tried some of the magnetic hanging ones, but not the plastic ones that encase your painting. If you’re just storing them and not using them for hanging, it would work, but might get bulky. Thanks for watching!!
