I'm in the Army and can't find very much time to practice DJing as much as I'd like with all the training I do. But I found your channel and am building nice fundamentals and skills! Your channel is awesome and very helpful to someone who can't practice as much as they'd like!
I'm a beginner anisong DJ and just wanted to say: these tutorials are among the best and clearest I've come across so far - and bonus points that they're from a kapwa Pinoy. Thank you!
This 2 minute video helps my confusion of over 2 months. It's all because of you that we know such things such as the speed booster exist. Thanks and all the best for future :)
I just downloaded the speed booster track. I did the entire 11 minutes using just the baby scratch and release. My right wrist is on fire now lol! Wow!!! What a workout that was!!! Thanks Carlos!
Great video! It's truly all about really taking the time and discipline and making the scratches part of the rhythm. It takes so much practice and trial & error to get something that is flawless. Look at all of the 90's hip hop pioneers that created the masterpiece jams that we all look up to!
in my opinion learning and getting better at the art of scratch takes time. it took me a good few years to build that muscle memory to become a good scratch dj. alot of people tend to look for a fast solution when it comes to scratching. over all everyone learns at thier own pace just like everything else in life. i noticed as i have aged with the art of scratch it has become a tool of meditation and relaxtion for me. but anyways thank you for your videos and passing down your wisdom to all.😎
Greetings from Lancaster, CA. Grabe Carlo! Ngimay ang braso ko. Pawisan nung natapos ako, lmao! But this is a good thing to practice or sure. It also got me to get into controlling the jogwheel and mitigate the slipping of my fingers from the jogwheel. Maraming salamat, guru!
Hello Carlo, Could you record tutorial about key’s? I watched a lot of tutorials about it but im still dont understand How it works but you’re The best teacher.
I'm practicing with these tracks but I'm not sure what I'm looking/listening for while doing it to know if I'm doing it right. Please keep in mind I have no rhythm. It did kind of sound harmonic for some of it. Does that mean I'm doing it correctly?
As long as you get your beat matching down, and the mix sounds smooth, then yes! Get someone to give you feedback too; friends, family, etc so they can tell you if it sounds good.
Dope brother that is exactly what I do. There is an app which has the same concept of the track Wichita increase on tempo but I can't remember the name. I would have to do some research and I'll drop a link when I find it.
Hi Carlo. I have a question for you. When I loaded the Speed Booster track to deck 1 of Virtual DJ software, the Hot Cues were also loaded. Why were the hot cues of this track saved? I use VDJ and how can I save the hot cues of tracks so I can use them in a CDJ?
hey txs for everything, i have a question : how djs do the mixing un a threstyle i mean is a full mix in every deck with cue points? or you load every single song everytime?
+DJ Carlo Atendido wow i can see that... so basically you are faster than a politician stealing money XD hey thx now i can start faster with my training. greetings from colombia.
When I do the baby scratch the backward movement takes me a little bit far from the start point of the scratch, so the location of the scratch moves ahead in the platter which makes it off-beat. Do you have any tips to hold onto the start tip of the scratch without going any backwards?
Thank you soo much, Carlo! I have a DDJ RB. Your scratch tutorials inspired me learn scratching and man your performance at red bull three style 👏hats-off!
Thanks for all the good info and all the videos. Have a question on my ddj-rb every time I use it it keeps giving me a feed back sound is that normal. Its like if it needs ground.
Thanks for putting me on to that track. My homework this weekend was to practice my baby scratching and one dropping, so this should be a great tool to help me with that. By the way, have you ever used the RR with turntables and DVS, if so, can you tell me what settings you used in the "audio" section of Rekordbox?
Actually, at this point, I have three DVS licenses because I bought one when I got my turntables, I got one with my 250mk2 and one with my XP1. In any event, I can use my turntables with my mixer and XP1, but I have yet to make it work with my RR. I have a video of my issue on my page...for now, it's my only video.
Hello dj carlo atindido, im a beginner dj, please make video tuitorial. How to beat match by ear. Please please.. dahil sayo lang ako natututo sa tuitorial mo. Naraming salamat po
i know 5 dollars is low price but as myself as a dj and a student as well i would like to have a opportunity to learn from you (pro) and practice these skills without paying anything before i go as big as you...
Because once that floodgate opens, who knows how it'll go down! Sorry Marzzaa, but still gotta feed the family. Thanks for full on being a member of the channel!
@@djcarlo Salamat kuya. TBH I sat through it all, but listening only. Don't know why the hands moving with your speech irks me but I know you do it as a way to keep the viewers attention. Sorry, don't mean to sound harsh. I truly respect the work you're doing nonetheless pare.

Hi Carlo. I have a question for you.
