A lever action shotgun by nerf, this is something they haven't done before. I wonder how this holds up compared to a FLAK that uses sledgefire or trilogy shells.
It seems like, for every one of the flipshot blasters, the priming interface and the switching interface should be switched to other way round to make it more ergonomic. I really like the concept behind these blasters though, they just look gimicky and fun and bonkers! Thanks Flux! 💜💚

One could argue that real steel shotguns are also most effective at closer range engagements. I am now obsessing over that Cyberpunk Shotgun..
By the way, I think someone has figured out how to muscle up the 'detent'(the-stop-lock-thingys, there's one on each side.) on the the flip 16. I was talking to someone on Instagram last week about it. There maybe room under the 'detent-spring-mechanism/Gizmo'(that's the proper technical-term, I'm pretty sure.🤓) Anyways, the idea was to increase the pressure by 40%. This should be sufficient to correct the issue.
Actually I would've really appreciated it if nerf put a slam fire switch like in the scravenger Like I know it might screw up the mechanism but for a company like nerf they can atleast TRY

Lever action quadruple rough cut. I think that's pretty cool and it seems to be better constructed than the other flip shots. Price tag hurts a bit but is understandable given the complexity. Now make it a master key! XD with a mega xl big rig on top!
That stock is snazzy, lever kinda flimsy but hey never can go wrong with lever action, ability to trick reload like sling fire? Shell got nice potential, is the flip lock new update? Spring upgrade potential? Wished you'd focus a couple more seconds on the smart ar turrents before slappin em on, saw some screws on em turrents, can they be disassembled?
The head on shot looks like the SRM or LRM packs of a BattleMech. It looks interesting but I'm going to wait for it to go clearance. The Mk 3 took a chunk out of my Foam Flinging budget. I can't wait to see if it will take a spring upgrade and if so how the FPS improves.
It's a neat blaster, but it bugs me that it's lever action instead of pump action. Like, a lever seems like a way better way to flip something and just makes more sense than a pump. If I ever get one, I'm going to try to swap the lever action and pump action. It's going to be hard, but might be pretty fun
Would love a magazine fed shotgun blaster with that lever mechanism. I love using the flip 32. My kiddos can barely use it though. Lol I mostly just use my Max Stryker and Nexus Pro though.
From what I can tell this blaster (and to some extent the other two blasters) might actually be a gimmicky blaster that could be reasonable for a lower end performance blaster with the right modifications.

Same as with the Flip 16 (I think that one hit soft too?), 50fps from the top barrel is unacceptable for a $60 "Elite" blaster. If it fired an entire row of darts from a full trigger pull, I'd be okay with 60fps. The priming and flipping controls are still the wrong way around but it's not so bad in this case. But if you like the idea of Flipshots, look for a Flipfury or Doominator. All the fun of the flipping gimmick but far less deadspace to ruin performance. Shame Boomco is dead because there's a Strongarm shotgun cylinder on Thingiverse that would be really fun in a Doominator
The flip 16 flipping mechanism just stopped being perfect after a day the only good ones are the flip 8 and from this video I can tell that this one is good too

The scary part about this imo is that lever is really hollow if you put a heavy spring in it. Then again, this is elite 2.0 so…

What does AR refer to?
These have a Smart Air Restrictor. This is how 1 dart can fire out of a block that holds 8 darts. Essentially it cycles to one dart at a time.
