I honestly would saw off that stock and mod it to have an N Strike attachment point. Or just stick it on a modded Fortnite Pump Shotgun, Because apparently people figured out how to make it Not suck
This actually seems like a cool idea for a blaster, not practical but practi-cool. It’s a shame it’s manufactured so terribly which makes it a piece of garbage
@@RiverWilliamson I wasn't expecting the smart AR nonsense. My roughcut works perfectly, with the only downside being the expected decreased performance as you advance down the dart pairs. It's a great sidearm class Blaster. I was hoping the flip would be a fun gimmicky blaster that'd be perfect for playing with my nephews. But with the Blaster screw ups in the gimmick means my nephews and I would be getting frustrated with it (my nephews are 6 & 8. I can't hand them a blaster that's finicky. They don't have the patience to enjoy a blaster despite the problems).
Would love to have been in the boardroom for this one. “Let’s see, everyone was so upset with our warden, how can we fix that? . . . . . . .I know! Lets put 2 wardens together cause 2 wrongs make a right. Right?”
Honestly, this is what Peak Hasbro looks like. Gimmicks like this is exactly how I remember my first Nerf gun, the Reactor. I was beyond happy, especially since the Firefly and Nitefinder are in the same shelf right now, and I wanted a Firefly before as a kid. Now just waiting for you to get your hands on the Dragonpower blasters which now has paint on Both sides
Great video. Well... I can’t exactly say that I’m surprised but hey they gave us screws back so... is that a win? I just think at this point it’s clear that Dart Zone is stomping Nerf and they’re giving us what we want so what I want is a horizontal short dart blaster like the Conquest but with the mag in the front and Lever Action #DartZoneLeverAction . Keep up the great work
This looks like a great blaster, besides the overlying elite 2.0 which seems to make it suddenly suck. I think it’s more for for the best nerf line: zombie strike
I guess Hasbeen doesn't think it needs to bother with quality anymore huh. Over reliance on a name to sell products is incredibly cynical and it shows.
Uh oh.....this looks like it can cause a lot of stress... I don’t know about that smart AR and the spinning gimmick... It looks like you have e to adjust it every time you spin the barrels.
I'm happy to report that I got a Flip-16 yesterday and mine works far better than yours does. It does occasionally underrotate, but it doesn't over rotate at all, and as long as I pump it consistently it doesn't have any problem flipping properly. The smart AR does always fire an extra dart at some point though. Also for anyone who might want to try, you can definitely take it apart with the dart pods attached to it. There's something holding it together at the stock attachment that I couldn't figure out how to get apart, but besides that there's no clips or solvent weld or anything. The insides look crazy from the glance I got through the front of the shell though, so I'm not sure it would be a fun experience trying to open it and put it back together.
Thank you for informational video. Even though the performance isn’t great, it looks good and gimmick is nice 👍. Maybe add buzz saws outside might be a good mod
Dr.F Great review even if the blaster was not up to the task. Thanks for showing us the future of Elite 2.0. Guess I had thought they would remedy the 2.0 shortcomings. Thank you for the fun fact filled review. As always it was awesome. Keep up the great work.
For a 2.0, I think this blaster could work! It reminds me a little bit of the Zombie Strike Ghoul Grinder. Good review, I can see this blaster joining my collection.
It had so much potential like at the start of the video I put it in my cart on the Target website but right after I took it out, definitely a good idea, hope for it to be improved in other blasters!
It really sucks how there is a priming handle to prime the blaster and not a pump grip. It would've been so much more practical and comfortable to use the pump grip for priming, and the handle to switch barrels. It also sucks that *this is an elite 2.0 blaster*
@@zeroblade6599 I’d rather have this than a deploy. I don’t care which deploy you have, it’s going to jam every second dart. This actually works somewhat if you can get the barrels lined up properly.
Thank you for reviewing this! I was almost debating on preordering the Flip-32 but now I'm just curious to see how problematic this ambitious design will prove.
That spas stock is so good though. I want all bigger nerf blasters to either be a bullpup like a raven or have a good folding stock. Imagine that stock replacing the sling on the new dp pro gun with the wierd mag system.it would be sick, functuonal and right in the theme.
I like blaster with weird gimmick. The way you shown how the blaster works, I wish the both primary handle was connected, cause it look like you can't fire the blaster until the flip primary is push forward. Hopefully there will be a kit to improve the gears for the flip and link both prime with a better air seal. I love the stock on this blaster.
I really hope your flip 16 is just a lemon as this is actually a decently battle effective version of the rough cut with double the ammo, i really want to like this blaster :(((((
I wanted this to be awesome and functional but no only thing I got excited for was the fact there putting screws back in blasters! Thanks Hasbro I miss the days where you didnt spam junk blasters
Jeez what a mess. I love that they went out of their way to leave one of the flippers unpainted; like somewhere on the assembly line there's a machine that takes every other one of those pieces off the line before the painting area. I do appreciate the "ELI73" that looks like "elite" either way that it's turned. Anyway, too bad the blaster is bad.
Uh I like the folding stock idea, that's good and would like to see them adapt that into things like Rival... and Mega if that still exists. I really do feel like Elite 2.0 was just an elaborate recycling program rather than trying to launch a new branch of Nerf. Hasbro saved money and plastic producing these blasters, while pushing customers to buy older second hand blasters to prevent them from ending up in landfills. Though yes, ironically most 2.0 blasters are likely lying broken in a landfill... but it is less plastic space than a properly made quality first blaster.
Hasbro finally makes something cool, I mean spas 12 stock, built I'm super cool sight, shotgun with 2 stage trigger, really cool logo, lots of shots, fun gimmick. Whyyyyyy can't it just be gooooooooood?
Recommending Dartzone blasters to those getting into the hobby, but who aren't in the USA, isn't much help. Do they even officially sell products outside the USA? X-Shot and Nerf are everywhere, but never seen a Dartzone or Adventure Force blaster here in the UK.
It’s a bit annoying how unreliable this is both rotating and firing. However, it is still a really cool concept and a gimmick that is actually useful seeing as you can easily “rear load” darts in the barrels that are out of use. I definitely think that the bolt and pump-grip should have their functions swapped, that would make it easier to use. Thanks for the cool review Flux, this is the first video I have seen where somebody has this in-hand! 💜💚
Yup she's a 2.0 blaster alright. Though I do like the spas 12 style stock! Almost be worth buying it just to cut that bad boy off and convert it to an N-Strike.
if I was 10... I'd totally go for this blaster, because looks cool and the concept is cool. But seems like... the blaster didn't get tested well enough before they release it. And also personally I'd like them to switch the priming thing... top prime to flip and pump to shoot... but that's just me.
Nerf, Dartzone, Zuru, anyone! If you want to make a usable shotgun, make a Zombie The Judge blaster, but without the bulkyness! It is such a cool concept, but I don’t wanna drag such a big big frame around!
That stock is awesome. It looks better made than the other 2.0 stuff, but not well enough to deal with all the complicated internals. Sigh. The stupid thing was over-rotating! I wish they would give up on smart AR and just go to a movable plunger tube.
They should bring back zombie strike and have a mechette mounted on the barrel of a shotgun that og foam mechette was my childhood and the first purchase I ever made with my own money
All green darts...so zombie strike darts. Is this hasbro's way of telling us they are trying to come back from the dead?
yes but instead they want to eat our money rather than brains

Thanks for the review and patience with this blaster! Sad to know that Elite 2.0 still keeping its (bad) standards...
Yeah I was getting pretty annoyed by the end of this one!
Wait until Walcoms7 gets his hands on this…

The licensing deal with D&D probably demanded it. (I know Hasbro owns Nerf and D&D, but you'd be surprised how intra-company politics goes)

I LOVE the spas 12 style stock excited to see how the upcoming blasters work when they are available!
The smart AR has never been smart.
That was funky it skipped to the next set of two before firing the previous and then fired the previous. Must be dart fit issues

This definitely belongs in the Zombie Strike line. Maybe the green darts indicate it was supposed to be.
The neon colors on the blasters on the wall are pulling me back to the 90s.

I want to see a spaz with a stock like that, like the mega series or something
The fact that the barrels click on to the side and how heavy they are could be part of the reliability problems.

I guess we’re on the lucky train together. My Warden still works as well. I’ve been shooting it VERY fast, rate of fire (ROF) wise.
I have a blaster that touchy like this, like the dart wasn't fully in, or the rotation wasn't aligned. You might want to play around a bit more
Wish they went back to the N-Strike formula. Simple, easy to modify, and great quality.
I was really excited for this because it looks like a better Warden with an interesting gimmick. It’s a shame that the AR doesn’t work.
