Vin diesels character in the games lore isn’t introduced until aberration or extinction, which is very far away
It’s based on the story of the lore ingame. I might get some stuff wrong but here I go. Lore stuff from ark REALLY simplified. Helena is an Australian biologist from the early 2000s. She died and wakes up on the ark as everyone else (a select human population) after and before her has. People from different times and regions live together and try and solve the mystery of the ark. Basically technology developed in the 25th cen (I think) devours the world of all life and wars have left the earth dead. The arks r a secret project to terraform the land and train selected individuals to kill the infected biosphere animals of the world and cure the planet of a technological plague and terraform it again. She goes from the ark to another to another until she finds a group of ppl on a malfunctioning ark using 25th cen tech. They (understanding the tech of the arks) create a portal to earth to bypass the ark tests (the final test of each ark sends u to a harder ark hence how she moved from ark to ark) and return home.
Vin Diesel takes the role of Santiago, who in the game lore first appears on Abberation. If each story Ark is one season, that would mean he first appears in season 3
Streaming Platform and release date are unknown. The show follows a slightly altered version of Arks story. The tales of people who lived there long before you arrive. I'm pretty excited to see this when it comes out. Potential Spoilers for non players who want more infi.
