Truth be told Jennifer is what you call the girl with a powerful voice, but her sound is more like for Broadway. Her albums are flops because she is not the total package. She definitely has an amazing voice and she looks great, but her vocal style and stage presence is not all that appealing. It is nice to know she can hold a note, but she really need to change up her vocal style to sell records. To only sell 24,000 copies in the first week is embarrassing. Seems her greatest claim to fame is her role in Dream Girls. Whenever she perform on television, it is mainly tributes and she is covering someone else song. The fortunate thing she is a good actress and seems to be getting a lil buzz in Hollywood. It would be nice to see her music career soar, but as long as she keep the same Broadway tunes sound, she will continue to not sell records. She is known, but she is no superstar. The clock is ticking.
