The speech is what makes this whole scene work. If Tony had just told them to fuck off, it would've been okay, but he actually tells them why he is telling them to fuck off, elevating it to a whole new level. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
I always thought he was looking on the side of the gun at 0:17. Looks like he is glancing there to see if they are real, and then knows he is in control of the situation enough to monologue, as it were.
Snatch and Lock Stock, two bloody masterpieces!!! Not to forget Rock n Rolla too. Guy Ritchie is a fuckin genius, he needs to make more bloody movies!!
He was mad but I still give him credit here. He delivers his lines with amazing presence. A lot of actors play themselves more or less on screen but he still has to be believable as a hit man. Awesome scene from one my favorite movies

@@jadedandbitter his hands would have to be mutant size to be large enough to hold the gun that way. Idk if you've seen a Desert Eagle in real life but I've handled a few and they are two handed guns.
The dialogue of this scene, besides being hilarious and inventive, is amazing! Though such original and brilliant dialogue is par for the course within this altogether outstanding and superbly experimental movie (as the camerawork was obviously radically different and original, and experimental in many respects. Fearlessly so!). The genius of Guy Ritchie is evident all throughout!
This is one of those movies you can never tire of i watch this movie at least once a month, everytime my grandkids get in my car i tell them don't dribble on my seats
I've watched this movie a hundred times and i never noticed that at 0:16 when Tony asks him what his name is he leans his head to the side a bit in order to get a good look at the gun. I knew he was talking to distract them to get the drop on them but I never realized he also did it to get information on what kinda people he was dealing with. His eyes never left the gun until he had grabbed the robbers arm. Great acting and character work
An interesting fact about the actor who played Bullet Tooth Tony: He was a professional football/soccer player. He got so many yellow and red cards that he got the nickname "Vinnie the Axe"
brilliantly put together. i love it when at 1:53 the three tilt their heads in shock to find that it is indeed a proper, well, gun. not funny, but humorous, if that makes sense. the whole scene is awesome. vinnie jones is a natural
Notice how tyrone puts his hand in his jacket pretending to have a gun too at the start of the scene😂 Little details like these are what make movies great.
