The weapon stops dealing damage to a boss after a while because it has a hitbox delay of 1.7 seconds. If your bible completes more than one rotation in 1.7 seconds, it will no longer deal damage to the same enemy until the first projectile resets the cooldown.
isnt it that the cooldown on all entities are reset if any entity hit by that object resets? ive seen that on many of the wiki's weapon pages.
When a weapon is so bad with wicked season right from the start that Dex switches to german XD
This weapon is among the worst in the game, it does not have much damage and the damage area is small.

@@timecrash85 I am not an expert of this game and I have tried all the weapons quite a bit, this weapon seems good at the beginning but it scales very badly. At least the garlic with its evolution offers healing even if it does not have as much damage.
Usually Dex breaks the game, but this time the game broke Dex.
exactly why I felt this was one of the weapons that needed retaliation damage as base >< this and carello would benefit loads from it being an inherent part of them and not purely divine bloodline ><
way I did it was take bloodline first and just ram as many mud golems at the start as I can, get the hp up nice and high before bible even starts being a thing
id love a readout of what counts as retaliation damage. so many mixed reports

How to do it with wicked season?
Step 1: start the game, pick wicked season
Step 2: have 5000 golden eggs
Step 3: win

One of the best horror endings to a game. You think you won but then... Also rotary phone.

Yeah, Bible is a great support weapon but needs something else to take care of enemies that get within the circle, esp. on high curse where they move so fast. This one looked like it was going to be extremely painful from the start and it sure proved to be.
The weapon helps as a support to kill enemies from afar but is useless against bosses.
Don't select Area it makes it harder for them to slip through, that's how i done it my man, love the VOD's keep up the good work...
I dont mind the game being modded at all. It let's us see how much help each weapon needs. The phones that make that noise are rotary dial phones in the US.

I'm ok with the extra re-rolls if you want to do that again in the future. I'm satisfied as long as I get to see a few failed attempts, so I can see the challenges and strategies involved.
So I did play along myself with my own more timid way, no starting powerup Curse, using Laurel but I fished through Randoms and the first Random with Bible I got was Mr Kujino. I won't spoil what lv492 Bible manages, at least with whatever nonsense stats Kujino scaled to, but it's quite neat when Bible hits absurd Area values.
Wouldn't have succeeded without Kujino+Laurel though, Guardians and random mobs were glued to me for upwards of 10 minutes, Divine Bloodline was just not a deterrent at all but the extra Bible damage from Armor was fine I'm sure.
It may be worth revisiting some really bad weapons by modding them onto Queen Sigma, or fishing for a good Random.

Heart of Fire could be a good arcana as the retaliation on it has knockback

Ive tried this a few times... King Bible sucks to limit break with. Too much enemy knock back (messes up exp gain pretty bad), and exactly what happend at the end. One enemy sneaks in aaaaaaaaaaand youre done!
Hypothesis as to why your books all despawn at the same time: your level up “spam” triggers them around the same time, thus they disappear around the same time

Dex, in English what you are referring to at 34 minutes is a rotary phone, with the rotary dial.

Watched half you vid then did it myself on 3rd try ..got mist of what you got for support..but no skull or crown...got armor instead ...divine blood first ...getting a bunch of hp early...twilight for exlosions...the beginning for more projectiles...with out skull and all those crazy levels I can out run anything..
The point of the limit break series is to get as many levels into the weapons as possible, that means Wicked Season as first Arcana is only then not taken when it is outright impossible.
It's easy to win with any solo weapon if the choice for Arcana is entirely free

I played this few days ago myself and I managed to make it to about 29:40. Yes, I quit the game at that point.
du hast eine äußerst wichtige und für die bibel tatsächlich sehr sehr mächtige arcana vergessen: twilight requiem. sobald die bibeln sich auflösen explodieren die und mit genug area sind die explosionen gewaltig (flächentechnisch) schadenstechnisch ist twilight requiem net so pralle aber die explosionen haben jede menge knockbackwirkung ob du dich damit trauen kannst fluch zu nehmen kann ich dir net sagen aber grade mit area ist twilight requiem nicht zu unterschätzen.
Das funktioniert nur temporär gut, bis die Explosionen die Gegner durch den Ring puschen und dann auf dir Stecken. Die Duration von den Bibeln wird an dem Punkt auch extrem lange, heißt kaum Explosionen
@@DexTag das mit der dauer könntest halt umgehen indem du wicked season weglässt. weniger level im limit break heißt weniger dauer. und falls wirklich die explosionen die gegner in dich reinkatapultieren (is bei mir net passiert aber kann durchaus sein) kannst du ne uhr oder n kreuz ziehen damits dich net komplett aus den latschen haut. alternativ sind die flügel auch gut weil falls was zwischen dich und die bibeln gerät nimmste halt die beine in die hand. du musst ja nur schnell genug sein um ein bücherregal oder irgend n anderes objekt zwischen dich und die gegner zu kriegen.

Shouldnt twilight requiem help cause when the duration of the bible ends there is a explosions across the screen?
The explosion is sadly not big nor powerful, and the Duration of the bible at that points is insanely long (with limit break and Duration bonus from char stats)
So for the limit break statistics, should we expect to just see the bible at the bottom of the list in a trash can?

I would put Bible above these 2 but, like, these 2 were so far off from all other weapons that this doesn't mean a lot.

I wonder if instead of divine bloodlines at 11 maybe bogaloo of illusion might have been better? I mean if you have enough area can the bible cover you as well?
Area with bible is bad because it makes the orbit bigger, and barely makes the books bigger, so in the ends it just makes it easier for enemies to get through
Like Pokemon this game needs a bicycle. XD Now that I think about it, if it had a fixed speed forced on the player that could help very high egg characters in picking up items by slowing them down.
Would using wings instead of armor help you move away from mobs that go inside your ring?
Mobs always outspeed you. There is just a short time in the beginning where it would help

I think the area is fun. But I think the speed arcana would be better for defense. The weapon struggles so much. For being a "defense" weapon it really struggles with actually defending you. lol
I think it should create new bibles starting on the character then spin out to it's normal orbit distance
Then it has a chance of killing enemies close to you, and if it scales with duration then it can spin closer tk the character more rotations on its way tk the outside

yeah bible is so terrible with more area. I really wish it wasn't in the limit break options. Also it is a bummer that it works so poorly with area generally speaking. You can get it so big without limit break and it becomes very weak as a solo weapon. I really wish area didn't effect bible or if the projectiles themselves got bigger... Something other than a wider orbit.
The projectiles themselves do become bigger but it takes extreme Area values.
