The record which still stands was 100.05 mph, set in France in 1961. In '65 Velocette produced a tuned version called the Velocette Venom Thruxton that won the Production TT in '67. In '68 the magneto was replaced with coil ignition. I'd sell a kidney to own one lol!
The exhaust is commonly called a fish tail but the correct name is Brooklands exhaust. There was a banked race track in the UK called Brooklands before the Second World War where a lot of records were set and residents nearby complained about the noise, so all competitors were compelled to fit a silencer and Brooklands supplied them with these fish tail style mufflers. The handlebars are called "Clubmans"

I looked again 110 mph! Revs on 7000, Way over the 6200 limit. She loved it. Some years later I was married. House , Company car Why did I sell her? Brian
The two front lights the smaller bulb known as the side light or pilot light was for mainly for well lit street riding when there was not much need for a main beam and the main head light was for for roads without much or non at all lighting when full beam was needed not like modern bikes.
That’s not a clubman , it may be dressed up as a clubman but the first clubman’s were around 1959, also the 24 hour record was an average of 100.05mph which at the time beat the 1000cc record, it is still the fastest average speed for a 500cc machine to date. And yes they are great bikes.

That fairing looks awful, this machine should be naked as it was in its day .
This bike was sold new and offered with the fairing from the factory. It IS as it was in its day.
