You can just push it forwards and backwards. Then put a canopy on top. New colored rims, and new colored lights.

That ain't a bad deal on the 135. I have an L130 I got in trade that I scrapped out.
I am using the Kohler V Twin, frame and front Axle on my latest build.
I pulled out the Hydrostatic Transaxle, replaced it with a 5 speed Transaxle and added a variable Speed pulley System.

LA135 450 pound push mower for $300? mmmmm a dealer or mechanic might want that but a non-mechanic homeowner would have to spend about $500 to get it fixed or $700 to have the transmission replaced. the transmission probably just needs to be taken apart, cleaned out, resealed, and refilled with synthetic 5W50 oil. Cheap fix if you're a mechanic with the right skills, tools, and equipment.

I thought you already have a John Deere... you're not going to start hoarding mowers like you do Pressure Cookers? just kidding. YOur area of PA / NJ looks like a nice place to live. Here in Maryland, near DC it's a hell hole. IF we left mowers on our lawns they'd get stolen real quick. jealous.

the front mount mowers are great versitile for 4 season uses
$7,500 for a Z950R and less than 300 hours? if that thing works and it's still under warranty, it's a BARGAIN! half the price of a new one! must be something wrong with it and he doesn't want to pay for maintenance. probably hit a big rock or tree stump or ran it over a cliff or dropped it off a big truck or something.
