Because of the fucking Fury Road which destroyed Mad Max franchise which had effect on a game which is much better then the movie

@@cov9614 agreed,I felt like Mad Max fury road was more about Furyosa and the Wifes,and Max was just thrown with his interceptor just to try to satisfy the older fans

One of the most underrated badass charecter in gaming.
Not technically in gaming, more like in action movies ..
I've played this game for 3 weeks straight and I have done almost none of the actual story. I've cleared Gut Gash's and Jeet's territories and most of Pink Eye's. Rarely does a game get me to do the extra stuff at all. Much less before completing the storyline. In my opinion, I think it would be in my top 5 games of 2015. Great game.
A broken man, from a long forgotten time, with only 2 connections to his old life. The Interceptor, and a simple Picture of a family long lost. when one is lost, he will stop at nothing to retrieve his Black on Black. Helped by a Hunchback Grease Monkey, he builds a new car, one more powerful then the Black on Black.
On this new Path of War, He encounters a slave named Glory, a beautiful women, with a daughter named Hope. This cold blooded killer, drove insane by constant loss and pain, feels love one more time. He considers staying with Glory and Hope, but when the Hunchback runs away with his new Car, he is enraged. The Hunchback is captured, and tells the warlord of his Weakness. He Reaches the Hunchback to late, barely able to save him. The Hunchback tells of the truth he has told, and a race to return to Glory and Hope starts. but they are too late, Max, a man broken by constant loss, and pain. losses another family. but instead of making him Sad. This enrages him, Fueling his Hatred for the Thief Warlord who stole the Interceptor, and killed his last chance at a normal life.
Max, Enraged and Broken again. chases the Warlord, dead set on killing, no matter the cost, to his Friends, or his car. taking down the Warlords convoy. He prepares to deal the last blow, destroying the massive truck the Warlord called the "Land Mover". this will destroy the Opus, But Max does not care. The Hunchback tries to stop him, but ends up dying with his creation. Max, Car less. discovers that his Mighty Interceptor has been turned into a War Chariot, the Warlord ready to kill atop his War Chariot. Max manages to kill the War Lord, and reclaims his car. and almost immediately forgets what happened, with his Hunchback friend, and his love Glory, and her child Hope. and continues his quest for peace in the plains of silence.
Unfortunately Max will never know peace and the ghosts in his head will push him on.

The Australian collector's edition came with the game and the movie, that's how I got Fury Road.

I wish my Dad would of lived long enough to see this game and Fury Road. He was a huge Mad Max fan. He had the real jacket, boots, pants, movie posters from the 80's, and the soundtracks on vinyl.

If anyone hasn't experienced this game running in 4K with HDR. You are missing so much, the game is already beautiful. But 4K brings the whole game to life. And HDR brings it to life even more.
I think you mean PC version because I'm playing it in PS5 and it has no 4K and no HDR

Its a beautiful awesome game, and would be a true triple A game if it wasnt for the number of game bugs. Replayability is low unfortunately, but hopefully theyre already developing Mad Max 2.
But what an ending.
I started playing this game again today, June of 2024. This game STILL looks amazing. It's a shame George Miller was disappointed in it, cause it's one of the best games ever. The intro still gives me chills, I started a new game again. I also just saw Furiosa and that movie was badass and the game ties into that!
I can't stop watching this trailer over and over again! I love it and I love this game! I just got it a few days ago on the X1 with the Black Friday sales for $12 (with GOLD) and I can't stop playing it! It's so beautiful!
It's ugly and in 30FPS on xbox unfortunately =( I hate being a dirty cuntsole peasant.
So, I've only just got this game the other day from the PS store dirt cheap.... I wasn't expecting much, but it's quickly turned into one of my all time favourite games! The game has its flaws but it's just soo much fun! I can't believe I've only just found out about this game.... no one really talks about this gem of a game and that's such a shame.
Gorgeous game and so much fun to play, story line's amazing, characters brilliant.
And so called "critics" savaged it.

I love this game it's surprising this game is 9 years old has great graphic, great gameplay with a great story and I'm quite surprised but this game is well optimized best game I have played in recent years

2023 and still one of the best games out there. I finished it twice on PS4 when it was released and once on PS5 via PS4 just for the nostalgia 2 months ago. A remaster or even a patch for current will be a very good thing.

this is Max's hell the game ends with his car and that picture of his family and it begins with that car and that picture
Fun fact: Max was a Cop so he had no fear and he had all sorts of abilities like shooting perfectly and punch hard and kick hard.

The Pursuit Interceptor, cold blood, steel foot, and fuel injected, meant to catch you like Mr. Dead would.
The wastes only freed him.
Vengeance is a fleeting friend… One that tends to be more destructive than productive in the end…

The thing is when you go back to the games that you played when you where a Child and Youth you see the game is not actually beautiful like before.
But Mad Max happens to be a glass of wine, seven years passed, the servers for racing are closed and here I am playing this doing all the things because somehow cleaning the map is satisfying, the whole game is satisfying.
Today days is hard to find a good game, big part is now battle-royale fast passed games and no more big games being produced.
But here I am drinking a glass of wine named Mad Max, join and drink with me, you will not regret.

Came here after watching the Interstellar video you made, but this one... My god what a journey.. I played the game more than midway through and stopped for some odd reason, but this trailer inspires to get back in, and finish to the end.
And I absolutely loved the song, where is it from? the original trailer? hadn't seen it when it came out back then, started playing it this year..

Caleb Welch I mean, the Fallout aspect was to be expected, because Fallout has basically nicked the setting from the Mad Max series, but if this is Fallout plus cars, yeah, count me in.
+The Sixth Doctor Well Fallout took the basic idea of living in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and trying to survive there.
+TheOmnitron12345 and there is also a lot of not so subtle references to mad max such as the very armor that max has in the road warrior and also a companion that is an Australia cattle dog named dog meat.
