I can’t explain how it’s 2024 and me and my sons literally bought a classic ps1 for $60 and this game both part 1 & 2 for $100 because of this song. It’s really uplifting and motivating to a lot of people! I truly agree this game has to be remastered ASAP! All original songs just polish the graphics. Aaron G this song is legendary!!!!!!!!! I play this song from my childhood to adulthood and now passed it on to my kids. They love it and thank you for giving my kids something positive to look forward to.

Man, this song is something special to me. Growing up my family stuggled with money, so I would only get to play new games on PS1 demo discs from PlayStation magazine. One of those discs had a demo for Bust A Groove 2 and Heat's level was the only one available to play. I can't tell you how often I would play that game and not understand how to being so young, but doing it anyway because of this song in particular. This really takes me back, thanks for uploading.

You would not believe the impact this game has had particularily on the latin american gaming community of the early 2000s. Playstation had the mayor presence over its competitors and this one of the most accessible dancing games on the scene, becoming perhaps the most popular dance game here, right up there with Crash, Lara Croft, and others. This song in particular, is so awesome. How it fitted the character perfectly as well as with the animation and art. This game had style. Bust A Groove 2 was such an improvement, voices like yours made it more special, and unforgivable.

Honestly, I'm a new Bust-A-Groove fan. This is honestly one of my favorite songs in the series. It really does stink that this game is so rare, because I would love to own the first 2 games because I'm such a big fan. It also stinks that this game is so unknown nowadays, that even when I talk to PS1 owners from the era, they have no clue what I'm talking about. So, thanks for making such a good song!
One of my favorite video game song ever and a piece I consider to be perfect. The amazing fusion of old school hip hop and jazz, flawlessly blended with a light pop and R&B vibe. Had me losing my mind over a flute solo. And good god does it hold up today.

That Jazz flute always gets me! So good memories. I remember the first time I heard this song I was a little doubtful because the beat was slower and more "laid back" than Heat's song in the first episode. After playing the game over and over again the song grew up on me and "The heat is on" ended up being my fav song of the series!

One of my most embarassing things Ive done in my younger years was dancing this song on our Xmas Party.
You see, I love Bust a Move. I have no dancing skills, and it was my first time dancing in public. And I freakin choose the most difficult dance in Bust a Move 2; the Heat choreograph. I was 13 that time lmao. I practiced those break dance like crazy and I thought I was doing. I thought, i was doing good.
I record the song using a recorder, burned it to a disc. Gave it to the music tech.
The day arrive. Wear my Hot Wheels like tshirt with flames. The cringe is real but that time that was cool. The first 30 secs was fine. After that, I feel tired. And that 1mins+ of pure dead air, I was dancing left right left right like a character in Bust a Move do if you afk. That 1mins+ of agony feels like forever. I was on stage with crowd watching. I thought I can dance it I just copy what the game is doing. Turns out it wasnt that simple.
That was 19 years ago. And that was my one most embarassing moment of my life.

Been playing this game quite a bit lately, still is iconic and this song is a legendary part of the masterpiece that this game still is. I really, really wish that Square Enix would remake this game with updated graphics, or at least revive the series with the original artists! Thanks for creating such a fantastic song that brings back so many great memories! The Heat is ALWAYS on!
THE Track is fire, and your vocals are fire. Literally one of my favorite songs from BAG2. I always sang along. Literally cant listen to this song without singing and dancing along with it. And the FLUTE, soooo amazing!!!

Top Song of the game, really even over shorty's, tsutomu and Hiro themes which are good, but this one is on another level. I always loved heat design, stage and his music, and how the song keeps mixing different elements is so nice, I love how the xylophone sounds in the chorus just to change into some awesome hip hop disco stuff after it. Then you got the solo with the panpipe (Not sure if this is the correct word for it) and omg it is just amazing. Top quality creation you had there man! Massive respect.

Even as a child my all-time fav character from this franchise was always Heat. So inspiring to realize how talented were all the cast of musicians hired to make these 2 remarkable and always remembered rythm games. I'm amazed as of how much nostalgia a single song can give off. 10/10
I Played this game in the beginning of 2000 in the arcades in the country of Brazil is a total nostalgia and the songs stayed inside my mind, I remember of my childhood playing the video game PlayStation 1 by myself and sometimes with some friends who losed the round passed the control to next player. Goods times that never will back. Only memories of a perfect life and a good childhood.
