Welp, I know what we’re doing next Alaskan cruise! That was amazing!!! We spent some time at the Rotary Park a mile or so from the office. We were there at low tide, too, and it was so beautiful! We were surrounded by eagles! We didn’t think to look for other wildlife, but we picked up some beautiful sea glass! That stretch along the Tongass Highway is just breathtaking!

I thought you were crazy when you mentioned that you were going snorkeling in Alaska, but now I want to go (and I hate being cold). It looks amazing. Jay’s land-snorkeling was great, too.
Yay! When I first saw that snorkeling was offered in Ketchikan, I thought “Dee from Parodeejay will do this someday.” Looked like a lot of fun, but I also envied Jay having that beautiful spot all to himself.
The snorkeling looked so interesting Dee! It's nice to see what the port looks like when you get off the ship . We're looking at doing a Princess cruise and interested to see what it is like.
Dee, I’m so jealous.. that looks like something I need to add to my Bucket List.. oh look at that.. it just was!.. THANK YOU.. amazing VLOG both of you! Love Jay’s solitary chair :-) at least you were not completely forget. Although it did look a little lonely 😢. Should have had a small cooler beside it with a sandwich and drink or beer!

Good morning Dee and Jay. Very cool, snorkeling in Alaska. I was surprised to see so many jellyfish. Dee sea snorkeling and Jay land snorkeling. Two excursions for the price of one 😅. So many different fish. More than the Caribbean it seemed. Absolutely gorgeous and amazing! .. oh Jay, "warm touching warm". Lol This was sooo fun. Thank you for taking us along ❤❤

I had to go back and watch the snorkeling at 50% speed. 😂 Dee was so excited to see what she would see next, she sped past some things. TBH, I do that with every snorkeling footage people take. It's amazing how much MORE you can see!! Thank you Dee! I usually like to wait until the whole cruise is over, and then binge the entire series. But I couldn't wait a MONTH for this series. So. I decided to watch this series as it comes out, and then go back and rewatch it altogether after it's done. Just waiting 2 days to watch the snorkeling footage was torture. 😅
Love this! Going on Westerdam later this summer. Really enjoyed the snorkeling adventure and had no idea there would be so much to see! Love the way you just share what you're doing and having a good time. Looking forward to more videos!!
Delighted to see and hear Dee's joy during her snorkel experience! After the practice pond(which is cool in itself), the "real thing" looked amazing! So much sea life, colorful and diverse! Excellent editing Jay! Loved how you stitched together this video moving back and forth between your two vantage points! Made for a richer experience! Kudos to Snorkel Alaska for providing an excellent and comprehensive excursion!
Honestly I would have never signed up snorkeling but bc of you guys you have changed my mind. Such an awesome experience and loved seeing all the sea creatures and was fascinated with all the Jelly fish. Also loved the land footage, thanks Jay. And I am so happy to know I am not the only one that talks to the fish when snorkeling,!!!😊
That looked amazing. We had our 1st Alaskan cruise in May and were so surprised at all the sea stars in the water as we walked back to the ship in Ketchikan. Had no idea we would see that much sea life from the dock. Can’t wait to go again.
Seriously - who knew… I never thought about snorkeling in Alaska! I’ve been to Alaska, and I didn’t see any snorkeling excursions, no one ever spoke about snorkeling 😮 Loved watching this… thank you. I am anxious to see all the rest of this trip. I’m planning another trip to Alaska next year. Certainly wish I could do a 28 day… even though I know I’m not able to snorkel 😂
How very brave of you! In our younger days, my husband would have jumped on this. He has always been the snorkel and diving person in the family. Warm, cold, he was game for it all. Several years ago, he and his brother received windsurfers for Xmas. On Christmas Day they were at the beach near our home, wearing wet suits of course windsurfing on Christmas Day. We live in Nova Scotia on the open Atlantic; the water is never warm. I prefer land snorkeling, like Jay.

21:30 I heard that if your ship has an ice cream social, it may mean that the morgue is full and they need to clear out the ice cream so the cooler can be used for backup. Crazy thought!

Do you guys bring binoculars? Well worth the cost if you spend any time watching wildlife. And no, a phone is not a substitute.
