- So this video's been in the works for almost two months now, and I am delighted to say that it has finally been complete. AcceleRacers is a series that has been close to me since my childhood, and I have been interested in it ever since I first saw Ignition back in 2005. I wanna thank the Tezla's Cube team and the Hot Wheels Discord Server for providing some of the information and visuals presented in this video, as without them this video would be a lot more bland.

I want a reboot at least. Same story, but I want a 3rd team. In the acceledrome. Focused around the dubstep side. Think Teku, but they have some fucking artist signs and speakers coming from every part of the car. Marking will be unique to each member. Mine would be a canine with headphones, a pink and blue eye, (bichromatic), and the car would be very special for each member. They correlate to their preferred dubstep style. Or edm in general. So the riddim kid, has himself a Night Shifter with some CRIPPLINGG, Aweminus, XaeboR, and SVDDEN DETAH stickers on the doors and their own logo on the hood and wheels. I'd say, StarGazr. The brostep junkie, would be using classic names like Ray Volpe, Skrillex, Excision, and Zomboy. Their name, would be Backshift. Car, Custom 62 Chevy, modified for off road driving or driving in urban realms. Meldub, Au5, Seven Lions, Oliverse and Fox Stevenson would be present. Her name would be Icicle. And her ride would be a 71 fastback mustang mach 1
They also need a fourth team, the country gang. Everyone listen to country music.

Seeing, and hearing all the responses from younger people, it made me realize that this show was more beloved than I remembered it being.
I'm 21, and remember watching this show on cartoon network when I was young. It's really weird to hear people that are 5-10 years younger than me still appreciating this show.

Love the fact that people still care about Acceleracers, i watched it originaly on DvD when i was 8. Im 15 now, i watched the whole show again and i just love it. There is somethink for everyone in this show, doesnt matter if u are 5 or 40. Acceleracers earned a very special place in my heart, so im still waiting...

Very good video. It's very sad that the series was cancled because this was one of best series like avatar last airbendar. Its always also a good thing to remembar the good moments of the show. Also is this only me or others dream and think of their endings and questions anwserd. It's also sad when you find out some one is doing the edge and other fan made films and then found out that maby they left it unfinished.😢 sory for a long comment but this was the one of the best tv series. The upcoming Hot Wheels Unleashed game gives me some hope that Acceleracers will one day come back because it shows RD-02 and some of the people at hot wheels say they're listening to fans and would like to bring Acceleracers back🙏
Shame I used to own many of the cars including chicane however the window is now broken and so is the spoiler.
Actually, there was promotional material for the 5th movie. There were toys showing Jack Wheeler and Banjee in their Silencerz outfits, next to their vehicles. Additionally, Hot Wheels cancelled Acceleracers because they were afraid it was starting to be too popular, more popular than the Hot Wheels name

Quite a well written video.Personally the cliffhanger doesn’t bother me too much, and I believe that if it was remade today there would be a high likelihood of it being a quick cash grab off of the nostalgia people have for it. Maybe i’m wrong though, there have been awesome remakes before.

Honestly same, a lot of loose ends were tied up in the 4th movie, even though there were still a lot left. If it were made today, it’d have to be a remake/new idea, otherwise it’d look awkward with new animation styles/technology. But fuck I just wish there was something us fans could look forward to at all
The AcceleRacers 5: The Edge Comic is not abandoned. There's only 1 guy doing it and it's not like he's being paid to do it. Can't call it abandoned when you don't know the artist's life schedule. Otherwise, nice video.

Really well made, edited, and scripted. I still have hope for it to make a comeback, even though I still more than agree with your conclusion. I was also a kid when I first watched the movies, and I too thought The Ultimate Race was the true end. I have a feeling that the series would have only gone down from there too.
Something tells me if acceleracers movie 5 really does exist, then movie 6 could probably be the happy ending of the entire acceleracers movie. I got the feeling we might get to see Gelorum has finally return for another battle with the Teku and the Metal Meniacs
When I get the money, I will personally fund the fifth movie. I will never forget the travesty that is AcceleRacers’ cancellation.

Well, technically there's Battle Force 5 which uses a lot of scraped AcceleRacers ideas, though it gets a lot of hate from autistic AcceleRacers fanboys. From what I've heard it's actually pretty good, but I myself haven't watched it so I can't confirm.
Battle Force 5 isn't actually that bad of a TV show, but as stated in the video, it was made for a younger audience. It's better than the Acceleracers community would want you to believe, though.

This would be perfect if it had a reboot. I really liked the mature theme of the show meaning it can cater to a much older audience as well and the though of these hot wheel cars driving irl would be awesome

For me its all about the Animations, ideas and music its sooo good and especially for 2005 ... I mean NFS Most Wanted was also released in 2005 and a absolute banger with his most iconic car .. and the absolute unique music track and real people + game scenes .. Seems like it was the perfect time to create something special

Apparently, from what I've read, Acceleracers was becoming extremely popular at the time, so popular that Mattel became paranoid that the Acceleracers brand would replace the Hot Wheels brand altogether...which ultimately led to Acceleracers' cancellation; it's NOT as stupid of a reason as you think it is...no, it's actually WORSE!!!!!

At the time of the fourth movie, they had plans for the sequels. There were toys displayed at an event back in the day that represented the new vehicles that could transform. But they cut the cords and moved on.

If they continued it then I feel like a plot twist was about to happen and it was one of two things: First, the silencerz were the real bad guys all along, or two, the more likely one, Tesla was somehow the real bad guy all along, and vert becomes a silencer

Not gonna lie but Vert wheeler was awesome and much more like a hero in world race more than acceleracers.....he was awesome in world race and especially in the Climax of world race he was much more awesome!!!!!

Ok, what I'd love to see, would be an Acceleracers final movie where it wraps up everything, and in the end Vert somehow loses his memories, basically it would set up a lead into Battle Force 5, thus all 3 series would be part of the same story. It could work, maybe the Accelerons were a race created by the Sentients, much like how the Sentients had been created by the more ancient Karmordials. Then we get a release of Battleforce 5 Full Revolution, which then leads into a new series where Battleforce 5 and Acceleracers can then cross over to face a bigger threat. EIther way I want them to at least release Full Revolution in english, then maybe come out with a new Hot Wheels car combat show.

Im 30 and I first saw acceleracers when I was a teen ager. I never saw the entire series and its pretty heart breaking to hear it was never finished while battle force 5 I actually did see the ending of. It was a rushed ending but still a ending none the less while acceleracers ends on a cliff hanger which is far worse than a rushed ending. Its a real shame as personally the story and characters of acceleracers were probably better written than battle force 5.
they should've mixed Acceleracers and Max Steel, and profited out of the new action figure toys
I'm pretty sure the 5th acceleracers movie was supposed to be called The Truth. Not sure about the 6th one. But I do know that the collectable cars Drift Tech and Power Bomb were supposed to be in the fifth movie. UGH CONTINUE THE SERIES ALREADY!

Is it just me or did all of hot wheels especially accelerators was everything about my childhood I own all of them on dvd, this may be weird but somtimes I even had few dreams about what happened to them in a 5th movie till this day I somtimes get weird dreams of the 5th movie and what happened probably cause I’m still so curious about the cliff hanger so many years ago.
