Princess Cays (Bahamas): Snorkeling On Your Own

Princess Cays is a private beach resort owned by Carnival Corporation that is located in the Bahamas on the island of Eleuthera. The resort offers quick and easy access to snorkeling whether you take a ship excursion or bring your own equipment and snorkel at the beach. In this video, we’ll show videos we captured while snorkeling on our own during our visit to Princess Cays in December 2022.

Did you pay through the cruise or once you got on the island?

We brought our own equipment and snorkeled on our own, so there was no payment needed.

For anyone who's not good swimmers, do you recommend bringing a life jacket because it doesn't look too shallow?

The water near the rocks was not very deep and really didn't require any swimming. However, if wearing a life jacket would make you feel more comfortable, then definitely bring one so you can enjoy the snorkeling.
