Crazy news today regrading Switch 2 using DLSS 3++. So No Man Sky is the 1st Switch game that used FSR2. Previously, several Switch games only used FSR1

Yeah, No Man's Sky is now using FSR 2 by AMD and it looks much better than before 😄
Be it DLSS or FSR we need all the tools for Switch games to look as good as possible and run well too 😁
FSR 2.0 has done something magical the the switch port! Can't wait for future updates :)

The game looks great with the new FSR 2 Graphics update since v4.4.4.
Now with the new v4.4.5 patch apparently the graphics on Nintendo Switch will be EVEN BETTER 👍😄
man i dont care if there are other millons reviews, i like your style and your work, keep it going :), Somehting it can be noted by much is how smooth animation play out, i think fps are way more stable now, and also i notice terrain loading happens faster than before, im almost able to land my ship immediately

I was the same. I only played the game on computer for years too.
Then I played the Nintendo Switch version and the convenience factor really changed everything 😆
@@QuesterMage I am glad to see the anomaly there I figured without multiplayer you might not get the nexus missions and quicksilver. Which is silly it's such a big slice of the game. Can you still upload discoveries to the server and get nanites?
It's not silly, just not obvious when you don't have the game on Switch 👍😁
The anomaly will seem very empty if you are used to playing the game in multiplayer but after a little while you get used to it 👍
Yes, you can still upload all the planet, flora, fauna and mineral data to the servers for nanites.
I spend way too much time trying to collect all the creatures on planets I visit for those nanites 🤣
the textures seems to be a bit more refined, i don’t know if this is an effect with fsr 2 but thats pretty interesting

Yeah it does look better.
I think we are all assuming it is FSR 2 as it looks more, like you say refined and Hello Games added the graphical improvements using FSR 2 in their patch notes for this update.
Whichever magic they are using, it works. I really like the new look on Nintendo Switch and it seems to be very popular with the No Man's Sky Switch community😄

Do keep in mind that multiplayer and settlements are still not available on the Nintendo Switch as of yet.
These features might not come to Switch but there is always a chance 😄
If you like playing No Man's Sky in single player and like the idea of playing this game on the go. I would say to check some reviews first 👍😁

The graphics have been upgraded quite a bit as you can see in the video and YES, the graphics have been inproved everywhere in the game 👍😄
Specially in Handheld mode... 😃 BIG difference but unfortunately the video capture on the Switch doesn't show this well.

I would say that some people are saying that the frieghter crashes are still a problem so do keep that in mind... 😓
There are more patches to follow though so hopefully these issues will be fixed 😄
We are still waiting for multiplayer and settlements IF we ever get those too ( as these might be important features for you ).
I will try to put a video together next week like this one featuring planets and maybe the space stations if that would help? 👍😁

Ah, good I mentioned it then. Multiplayer and settlements are NOT available on Switch right now and there has been no indication from Hello Games that these features will be implemented on this platform 😓
They might be but also might not....
If you like playing No Man's Sky Multiplayer then this is definitely something to think about 👍😄

Unfortunately, we don't know when or if any feature will be added 😔. Hello Games tends to just add features whenever they want via big updates to the game.
If they add features like settlements I will make a video about it so we can all see how well it works on Switch👍😄
The eshop sale ended as I was watching this 😂. As I went to go buy it the store changed to $80 from $40.

I try to get all my game in a box 👍😁
Don’t get me wrong graphics are amazing, frame rate is great too, but it still crashes but this time with rescue freighter or entering your freighter or sometimes the space station or doing the main storyline. I can now visit planets I labeled as causes game to crash. But the game still crashes which really pissed me off because the first time I encounter an S class capital ship game crashes after i rescue it and enter the freighter

I have been letting others know about this issue too in the comments. These types of crashes should not still be happening.
Hopefully the next patches for 4.4 will fix issues like this soon 😄

This is all docked with an original Nintendo Switch. I do have captures of handheld but the Switch's video capture for this game doesn't look great 😓
The game itself looks much, much better in handheld also after the Echoes update v4.4 😄
I was interested in this game but after seeing how it runs on the Switch i decided to pass on it and just wait maybe they'll release it on the Switch 2 but I might reconsider getting on the Switch...What about the pop in did that improve on the Switch as

I hope that will help but in short I think it is roughly the same. The game overall looks better though 😄
( Keep in mind that the Switch version is 30-ish fps and does NOT have multiplayer or settlements. If these features are important to you I would suggest checking a few reviews first 👍😁 )
@@QuesterMage Not really,I just want the Switch version to be as good as they can make it to get the best experience possible..If I don't get the Switch version I hope they re-release it on the next Nintendo console as it should be able to handle that game easily but there is no guarantees it will get released on the Switch 2
@@QuesterMage Question?, have you played the PC or the more power consoles versions? Is there pop-in in those as well or is it just the Switch? This just crossed my mind
I played No Man's Sky on a gaming computer for many years. You will see pop-in on there as well.
On the Switch what I found noticible was the range in which the items load in on screen ( draw distance ) as you are moving around. It is much closer to the player on Switch and not as many items load in.

For me ( obviously different for everyone ), there are not many crashes in docked mode.
However, the new Echoes update has made the game crash more for me in handheld mode. Luckily, the autosave feature makes this ok as I never loose to much progress ( usually like 5 mins max ).
I have seen comments in regards to the freighter still crashing. I tend not to use a freighter as these cause quite a few issues ( as per others ).
In short, I think the game is running better than before but crashes seem to not be a consistent problem for everyone.
