They never noticed that the 'evil roommate' was copying their moves from a few seconds ago and all they had to do was go in a circle to avoid it forever.

I never realized how much I wanted a Rage Quit starring Gavin instead of Michael until today.
Tyeia Merrh Honestly, I just want double Rage Quit with them both. Which is kind of what this series is, and there are a few Rage Quits starring both of them, but I would like a dedicated "Double Rage Quit".

One day as a prank, someone should sync one of the controllers to the camera system of the podcast, and get someone else to start playing something while the podcast is running. The podcast crew would be so confused and the person with the controller would have no idea, the only one who would know what is happening would be the one who set it up.

I usually love watching them fuck everything up but I was in pain that they couldn't figure out the shadows just copied your movements.
I'm not surprised, but it still hurts to watch.
Plus then they just go "Fuck it" and instead of avoiding them like they were attempting the first time, now they straight out run through them basically killing one another
They'd never played this particular game before (excluding mico in a rage quit "which he literally said was early on, so years ago") so I don't know why you guys expect them to master the game their first time playing.
It's not really that I expected them to master it, just that I figured they'd be more familiar with the game considering its probably one of the most popular flash games of all time.
I am so 100% up for more videos in N++

Knowing how it works that was frustrating to watch, though most of the time they died so fast I can see how they wouldn't catch on to the pattern.
Their ignorance is both infuriating and entertaining as hell.

Oh, you two. I've been watching you for years, and this is the first time my soul was overjoyed. The N series is one of my favorite game series, and I have played every game on every available platform. N++ is a masterclass is design and control, and despite its challenge, the ability to see the whole level in one screen is both maddening and amazing.
I love you two! This cracked me up like the others, but it connected on a different level.

The lack of camera feeds until the end felt like a quaint modern version of the first few Play Pals. Totally wanna see them play more because there's plenty of content to play.
Honestly, I understand why they might not get it during that first level with it, but there was a point later on in a later level where Gavin was dead for an extended period of time while Michael was being chased by clones. During that point Gavin could have noticed their movements being similar to Michael's from just a few seconds ago, but I suppose he was more focused on Michael's actions rather than what the clones were doing. At any rate, I don't think their lack of understanding that will completely block them off from completing future levels, at least not yet. A full series, or at least 4-5 parts of this would be pretty great.
Gray Posenic I’m pretty damn sure he knew that at that point. There’s nothing implying Gavin or even Michael didn’t know that by that point. Gavin even calls them clones. Also it’s something pretty obvious so I can see Gavin not bothering to mention such information.
I just assume they are drunk, and didn't get much sleep.
We know they drink a lot at work, and have done so during Play Pals.
Add that to being tired since Michael has a kid and Gavin could be busy...equals missing the obvious.
I'd be all for more series of this, it was great, but it did become kinda painful when they keep dying for nothing.
What made me confused was why when Gavin was stuck in the box with the door, he kept expecting Michael to instead of opening the door, he would open his box. Even though Michael could hit everything by himself.

Yeah, neither of them mentioned that the clones were literally copying their movements; I suspect they thought the clones were just following them towards their current location.
Playps should consider returning to their past videos that managed to be above 500k views to do a part 2. I just them fully completing games, it's so satisfying

Whoever edits the Play Pals videos is awesome. Play Pals are consistently the most well edited videos and actually add humor, unlike most Let's Plays where it's just cutting to different points of view. Well done again!
The editor also has the luxury of not 6 game play files and 6 webcams but (usually) 1 game play file and 1 webcam, so the basic editing isn't anywhere near as cumbersome as that of a full team Let's Play. Allows them to spend more time with the jokes and put the fun stuff into it! :D

They aren't the sharpest individuals but to their credit Gavin has like 50 projects going on at any time and Michael has a newborn at home. I mean they've always been scatterbrained but don't forget they at least have reasons now.
It killed me inside when they couldn't figure out how the shadows worked.

Having a baby = less sleep = sleep deprivation = slower thinking and poor observational skills
Look at what happened to Ryan after he had his daughter, the poor bastard barely speaks English nowadays.
Viktor Reznov you obviously don't have a, or know anyone with a baby. When you have a baby it is a full time job that requires a lot of time and energy. You end up spending a lot of time awake at night tending to the child and don't get much sleep, and when you don't get much sleep repeatedly over a long period of time, you get exhausted both mentally and physically, which is why he seems extra slow and scatterbrained recently.
I know I'm three years late, but this is one of my favorite games and it's awesome to see you guys play it.

I'd like to see them do a play pals in Rise of the Tomb Raider (Endurance Mode) so that they can play co-op and get chased by wolves and bears. And get caught in every trap trying to explore the tombs.

I know this is an oldie but Michael pronouncing Button like Gav (buh-on) is so fun to hear Gav really has subtly influenced a lot of how the Achievement hunters speak
The best part of Gavin rage is the sounds he makes. Michael rage is accompanied by hand movements and red face, but he didn't really rage at all here. So the web cam pausing doesn't really matter. I still really liked watching them play this. Tbh, their faces in the corner might have distracted a little from the game play since it's sort of a puzzle game and you have to pay attention to both of them doing something different.
