I drove school spots during my 15 years of service as a TEO here for Detroit DOT and I always smiled and got the attention of all students boarding the buses. When I asked how was school today? They all were shouting and clowning on my bus... 😂 I remained calm, pulled over, got off the bus, did a walk around, and started opening and closing panels. I shut off the bus switch in the rear of the bus located on the engine. The students got quiet and were scared. I got back on the bus and they were like "HE DONE BROKE THE BUS" they laughed at me and I laughed with them! I said very nicely everyone relax let me work my magic.... Vrrrroom! Bus started up and they clapped and said to each other "Y'all calm down chill out our bus driver saved our bus so we can go home". I smiled again and said thank you all let's roll out! An adult male passenger boarded the bus on the way, and they spoke politely to him! One girl shouted "that's my daddy driving the bus" I laughed because I didn't have any children at the time. God moves in mysterious ways because now I do have a 5 year old daughter though I don't drive the bus anymore. Moral of the story is...be nice to everyone you may just make somebody's day special!
Her actions as an adult should be reprimanded, and she go to prison for initiating physical violence on that teenager. Teens nowadays are tougher to deal with, but words are just words, bus driver was in no physical danger, she had no right to beat on a minor.

Exactly why I don't want kids. These products of no boundaries, inconsistent discipline, rabid sense of self entitlement, arrogance, delusion that the world revolves around them, I would not want my kids to grow up with that. I'm doing the world a favor by not having any. I was bullied horribly myself and I still remember multiple decades later. That's my thought. Unfortunately a lot of these kids are being raised by former kids who don't have any respect for boundaries, that the word no is a complete sentence or any sense of accountability. Therefore, they have no expectation or understanding that there are prizes and consequences for their actions. I drove a city bus for 5 years , the worst job I ever had , enjoyed driving around town , but dealing with people was pita … I never fought anyone , I’d just get on radio and call cops, they’d be there in few minutes, and taking care of business… I also wasn’t rushing anyone , people would take their time getting on the bus , and then I’d take my time getting to central station down town , when they realized they’d be late for connecting bus , they’d start complaining and asking me to hurry and drive faster … nope lol … it ain’t happening, so then they’d all be late and have to sit and wait for another bus … I was always ok, I was never late for my bus lol

I'm sorry but the best driver was stupid no matter how angry you are hitting a child will either get the parent to murder you or getting you arrested and let's be honest the majority of the internet's stupid and won't realize that the child asked for it they'll just see that you're hitting a child and you have no reason to hit a child and they're not going to be on your side the world is full of snowflakes don't get arrested because you decided to hit someone's child instead of being a man or a woman about it and letting it go
