The rails are plastic (good quality), but they "Stick" somewhat..! Especially if you don't take your foot-pressure off the opposite side. I have the same steering control on my Titan X, and I'm probably going to try some "Dry-Moly Lube" (or, make some little buttons from Teflon and see if that works). You CAN use Silicone Lubricant, but that'll probably attract dirt/grit in the slider channels...!
Is the tubing uv resistant? Are the foot braces rails aluminum or at least very sturdy, not cheap plastic?
