This is a first for me seeing horses RETURNED to the wild. These must have been gathered and these lucky few returned, their lives changed forever.

I LOVE horses I wish I had one
kayla1955 I own mustangs and if they hadn't been captured they would have probably died of starvation. I is a good thing that they are captured so that they can got to good home. Yes, I am happy to them being freed, but it is not bad for them to be captured.

I remember first watching this when it came out.. I love it but honestly I feel like they may have been rounded up again by the government. I’m not from the us so I’m not entirely sure how it works but I pray to god they’re alive and safe
It almost brought me to tears.... Their gone forever... Their on their own... But it's their natural habitat and they belong there.... It's just horses mean the world to me...this is just heart breaking to me... If only I could get my own horse...

These horses in the truck lot and they are all in a hurry to rush out into the wild to nobody caught and put back in the cage. And you came here on the contrary, set free wild horses. Now they ride their way and choose how best to survive in this harsh and cruel world. Thanks for the video, put you Like. Hopefully, these wild animals will find their home in these lands!
+Konstantin Saldin Horses are innocent animals who are enjoying their lives. Without a doubt the way forward is the best option. They will create their new offspring, and they need to adapt to the new nature and its survival. I hope they will find the places that they like and not be found wanting. Thanks for the video =)

love it, love you for setting them free !! We rescued a filly bound for slaughter for Christmas 2015. If I win the lottery since its 1.3 billion now......I would buy all horses in killpens and let them have forever home on all the new land I would buy ! Just so wonderful you could free them! Thank you !!!!!!!

yes i have a horse nad i saved her from racing in bad condition . her tendons were all swolen and she had a load of cuts shes a thurabread i cant spell it jajaj... and her name is Princess i love her so much ahes my heart x

I had a dream a few nights ago of horses so I was searching for such a video.
In my dream i was in amongst herds and herds of wild horses.
Not just modern ones.. there were different kinds..
One large pack that i took interest in was a very large horse with a broad neck.
It was a very powerful horse that all other horses made room for.
We all ran free in a large open field with a very large tree in the middle.
The tree was large like the one in Avatar.
The field was vast and as far as the horizon there was no other tree.
Just more horses all moving in groups majestically.
I don't know why I was in amogst them.. I wasn't a horse.
I felt safe too and the horses didn't mind me.

About six wild horses died at Mesa Verde national park. They were cut off from main water sources. Mesa Verde is not concerned about the horse's because they are not a 'native species'. They are planning to catch and auction off the wild horses. I think they should just relocate them without getting any money off of it.

When the BLM rounded up 1200 wild horses in Wyoming recently to "prevent overgrazing", they were replaced within months with over 50,000 beef cattle and 60,000 domestic sheep. And the Govenor of WY is telling everyone the 1000 remaining wild horses in the state are still causing overgrazing.
Actually, horses evolved in North America, so they are in fact native, that's more of a reintroduction rather than an introduction.

Scientists have compared wild horse DNA to the fossilized remains of native horses and they are identical. They were reintroduced to their native land in the 1400's. So you're right, they ARE a native species. The ones that are not are domesticated sheep and beef cattle, They are completely different from native sheep or cattle at the genetic level.
