soooo... shadow heart could have just cast the level 2 spell protection from poison. makes you immune to poison, no concentration required. could have made your whole party immune to poison...
@@andybodle7560 resistant true. but immune to the poison clouds effects in that crypt. they would have taken no damage, no inconvenience of any kind. they could have completely ignored them. same effect as drinking a poison protection elixir.
the other thing i forgot to mention is that shadowheart doesnt need to be in the party to do that. buff spells that dont require concentration, like protection from poison or warding bond or Aid, dont require her to stay in the party. she can cast them then be replaced. buffs that do require concentration, regardless of how long the buff lasts, do require the caster to stay in the party.

Honestly, I often forget all the special spells she can cast. But yes that sounds like it would have definitely made things easier!🤭
