Due to the strict covid restrictions they were not allowed to hold a regular concert (no singing, no jumping was allowed), so they went with an acoustic outside of Tokyo, as Tokyo was a lot stricter. That's why there is no noise from the audience either, just clapping. It's really interesting how they rearranged their rock bangers into almost jazzy like slower songs. Taka's voice is amazing as usual. I just came back from their London show in the Wembley Arena, maaaan, they are incredible live. If you can, try to make it to their LA show or maybe the new album tour next year. This is really a band worth every single penny I spent to travel from another country to see them. you may also like to check out their more recent acoustic, like the jam session version of Vandalize. :) great insights, I really like your analysis of what is happening musically and vocally.
That makes sense. I assumed they had more restrictions for this one. That sounds amazing! If you’re going see them, I’m sure Wembley is one of the best places to do it! I haven’t been to many live shows recently, but their album release tour sounds intriguing! Will also check out more of their acoustic performances as well!! 🤘🤘
I am not always a fan of acoustic versions, but I think I like Mighty Long Fall is even better acoustically. I'm having so much fun joining you down your OOR journey.
