While I love a good, large survival knife - I have grown to love a smaller more agile knife as well. Check these ones out and let me know what ones you like and what ones you would add as well.

I agree completely on the Esee RB3. Total win! I bought the Pathfinder Scorpion XL just before the RB3 came out. Very similar.

Thanks for sharing. I keep an Esee Izula in my survival kit. When you combine the Izula with a small folding saw you can get some serious tasks done.

The Roselli Bear Claw is my favorite full handle with small blade knife. It weight’s less than air, and with the UHC steel, it is truly unbeatable. Use as a neck knife or belt.

I carry my modified esee 3 mil with the new 3D scales. Perfect size for edc and smaller tasks while camping, fishing, etc. Can't go wrong with any esee though.

I haven't seen one of your videos in a long time. I recall that you always liked a compact belt knife in addition to larger blades and for most tasks.

I have several small knives like you. My favorite is the White River M1 Caper. I found it in a little shop in Castle Rock, Colorado, and fell in love with it as soon as I held it. Second is my TOPS MSK 2.5. I don't own an Izula but it is on my future list of knives to try out.

I’ve got an esse ezula that I’m sure will last a life time but I have 2 $20 Chinese made Bench Mark knives that came with a descent sheath that hooks on my belt-loop. Just a bit under 3” blade so I can carry it legally most anywhere. It’s been hanging on my belt-loop for years and very few people have even noticed it. If I see a sign that prohibits knives I’ll leave it in the car or my company truck. It’s stainless so it’s very hard to sharpen but it holds an edge quite well. I abuse it regularly but seldom have to sharpen it, I found the best way to sharpen it is with my over-sized kitchen hone! That’s the only short fixed blade knives I own (besides my kitchen knives).

Lots of (in fact all :)) nice knives
    - I change the Izula for the Izula II
    - I change the Esee RB3 for the Esee PR-4 (but change the original scales for G10 at TKC, not good !) or a Tops Bob
Thx for discoreving 3 Dog Knife Riot, unknown for me

First, I've enjoyed this video and particularly like your selection of knives and emphasis on pairing them on a system. [Hint: systems would make for a great video suggestion.] Second, please show every sheath each knife comes with. This can definitely sway a final decision on whether to purchase a knife or not. Finally, excellent pace/cadence to this video!

a few of these were already on my wish lists. I wear a Folts minimalist as a necker every day, I have the eldris, but havent really used it much. I did a video on it, where I was a bit harsh, but it is a decent blade, just didn't fit in most of my needs. I have it in the fire kit in my emergency 72 hour kit. ( it throws wicked sparks off of a ferro rod) if I ever get the funds, there are a couple of the Tops, and Esees that I really want to add to my gear. If I do gt an Izula, I want the Izula II, because I prefer the scales to skeletonized.

I have the Esee RB3 but always loves the looks of the Tops Taninboca Puukko. In your opinion does the Tops provide you anything that the Esee doesn’t. Love your channel and I love small fixed blades.

Vg10 is a Japanese kitchen steel prone to chipping if you use it hard. Idk how you can use it outdoors, thousands of broken tips on Fällknivens which are used the first time are the evidence and the company didn’t even acknowledge the failure and let the customers alone for their fault of using crappy kitchen steel and spyderco uses it too.. I hope they help the customer if they dare to use the crap steel.
