Ignacy: *makes a strong comeback to the show with an Amazon joke* Stephen: What? Of course you can buy it on Amazon. Next time Ignacy is back on this show you should reverse the question from a couple of episodes ago; if and how people buy used board games. I know Ignacy loves that. ;)
I have mixed feelings about the Kickstarter vs online retail story. Publishers who engage in this might be hurting themselves in the long run. I would next time just wait for the game to come out in retail (and if it doesn’t no harm to me is done) and not trust that publisher anymore. If enough people think like that the next and the next project are going to fail potentially putting the publisher either out of business or force them to go retail anyway. This is why I like GMTs P500 system which is preorder but the game will only be made if 500 preorder (I think it is a bit more now, somewhere around 800 or so). And you see the discounted price and MRSP. That is usually so good that no online retailer can afford to go that low unless they forcefully want to capture the wargaming market (which is probably a no as that market is quite niche even within board gaming). And best cardboard money by far in a game, and this is not to suck up to Ignacy, is the money in Prêt-à-Porter. It is both beautiful and easy to use as it is quite chunky.

I play it with Corey this week! How did I like it? You’ll have to wait until the next show… :). [Hint: Great game! :) ]
