I'm sorry to hear that. For this guide to work you have to be really careful in the conversations with the generals. When you never mention anything communist in their presence and always justify your decisions with the well being of the sordish people you should be fine.
To make sure I didn't make a mistake when editing the video, I tried it again, step by step following the instructions, and got the same positive result as in the guide.
First, i wanted to make my own communist party. And by forming the SSP you empower Lileas, who is a die hard Sollist. Second, i wanted a flawless economy and good human rights in my communist utopia. So i had to get rid of corruption and couldn't kill any political opponent. Third, the ACP investigations into the old guard pressure them so much that you get extra votes in the supreme court. Normally you can get extra votes through deals with the oligarchs but i wanted to nationalize both their companies for a perfect planned economy, that meant they wouldn't help me.

You can advise him to resign in the prologue. If you campaigned for him beforehand, he will be nicer to you later.
