Well, rather not see em in the summer and see them during season instead right

I know the feeling.. my summer and many past summers have been dumpster fires for deer picture. It's finally just starting to pick up some good bucks... one of the reasons I like cell cameras is that you have immediate intel. On public I put then at the lowest plan possible because I won't be getting lots of pictures. But it sure helps to know if it's a waste of time spot or the camera is working... I do have some non cell ones up and my heart will he in my throat once I check them after leaving them all summer. Hopefully, things pick up for you. It just takes one shooter buck to show up to make it all worth it.

I agree going through the same in ANF in Pa. But, since you had Troy Prottenger on I been messing with mock scrapes all year long with the Buck Fever Products! Been working very well and getting constant daylight pics!

Love visiting Memphis. Going to a Grizz game, eating BBQ, BPS Pyramid. Been to many Liberty Bowls. Never felt in danger or scared. Like Chicago, the violence is mostly isolated to rough neighborhoods with gangs and drug problems but will occasionally spill out into the rest of the city.

I was ready for the fall weather about the time winter set in last year. So to say I am ready for fall is an overstatement.

I feel your pain. Batteries in 1 cam failed end of June so no pics of horn growth in July to begin of August. Been soaking since mid march.

This is why I quit putting out cams in summer :D I can't get any pics. Just end up wasting a lot of time and money.

If you forget your climbing stick and cant reach the cam from the ground, build a pile of logs to stand on or if you can, find a 2-3ft piece you can learn up against the tree to stand on. 👍

There's not much here either... although we are about 5 weeks out. I'm thinking that our unusual warm weather might play a role in their early season movements. Eastern Canada.

Best year I’ve had here in ms. All mineral site pics and they’ll will disappear but it’s been fun watching them grow.

It is super cool to have a cam over minerals to see how the deer progress

I've had 3 cams put out since spring and have one small buck....that's it!

I have no doubt that you will get a fine buck this fall - your current trail camera woes notwithstanding. You got a great buck in Wisconsin a few years ago - I'm sure you'll knock another buck down, no problem.

Been gettin a lot of deer pics on my farm in KY. The farm is 500 miles from where I live/work, so I use cell cams. Y'all think it's hot - come to the FL Panhandle in August and see what you thin - upper 90s every day here.

Yeah the only thing worst than that is finding a really good looking spot and putting a trail camera on it and you are taking a day off especially for going to check and see what is on that camera get there and you was so excited you forgot to turn the camera on 😢 Lol yeah we are getting blessed with lower humidity for a day or so our selves here in Florida instead of 110* heat index it's about 95* take what you can get this time of year , I been watching there is supposed to be some really good weather early this year I don't know if that will be a good thing here or bad thing other than making it feel better

Cameras in wrong place. Middle of corn field is the place to be this time of year. Change in few weeks.

Do you format them evertime you look at them or pull them? So you do not cross swap them to different cameras? That will cause them to not take pictures or the dates to get screwed up sometimes.

I format them every time on the camera.

Tough to pattern bucks this time of the year anyway .. does and fawns are pushing them around to places they wouldn't ordinarily be hanging out.

So do you use the DG alkaline HD batteries? I have used those for years with great success. They are cheap and they last me a long time.

Forget the cameras & pics and get back to the root of hunting & woodsmanship
