    For future pilots out there, if you post irresponsible behavior on social media you’re not getting hired. Flying is serious business and you need to emanate professionalism and maturity. His fellow pilots, instructors, and family could have also advised him about this if they took his aspirations seriously.

    Literally murdered someone who was humble enough to recognize they needed criticism. This guy mocked him, thought he was better than him, was impatient and arrogant. He should have done better. He shouldn't have been a CFI. Maybe if he took more time to learn and was humbled by his own lack of skill the poor student wouldn't have been murdered.

    He went and got himself and his innocent student killed by letting his true colors fly and paying more attention to his social media accounts than the plane or the student. Major executive failure at every level. Go/no go decisions were on him. Safety of the student and plane were on him. He is a failure and will always be remembered as a failure. He spent his last moments in life publicly shaming and bullying someone who needed a little extra help in that moment to fly the plane. Social media bullying was more important to him in that moment than the planes safety. That’s the kind of person he was, period. If the NTSB ever releases a report on this, it will not be kind to him as the responsible person aboard and the more experienced pilot, that’s for sure. I’m starting to think we need quarterly psyche evals for every pilot.

    • @advantius

      Yeah, this guy was paying 0% attention to safe flying and 100% attention to snapchat and tiktok clout he intended to gain by absolutely shitting on the student who was depending on him. What a fucking prick. In a way, it's a good thing that he posted those videos so we could know his true legacy as complete scumbag and a failure to the aviation community rather, than the face he put on when dealing with those he didn't deem beneath him. As a recent graduate himself, his complete lack of humility or humanity is especially appalling.

    I guess it's a good thing he is from a well-known family in the community that gives donations because, now, the family that raised this punk can give his and their estate to the family of the 18yo kid his arrogance murdered. 18 is an adult but still a kid with so much life to live and the student clearly had dreams. I can only assume this prick had a direct family connect that allowed him in the door to be a CFI so shortly after he received his license. It definitely seems like that company had a complete lack in judgement and will be paying as well. Parent's take note, giving your kids unlimited income to do as they please doesn't make for humble kids, just entitled brats that clearly don't value life.

    • @appleiiee
      @appleiiee ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree w/you if that's how he got his money. You don't need a direct family connect to get that kind of training; just time/money---you should be mature as well. A lot of CFI's are that young and it's been that way a long time in general aviation. Especially at those kind of flight schools that just help the CFI build time so they can go right into the airlines after their flight hours have been met. Now whoever (all of the instructors) signed him off when he earned his flight certificates and those instructors who didn't see the signs that he wasn't mature enough to handle being a pilot let alone an instructor nor knew that this guy was heavily in to social media---that's on them. As well as the flight school that employed him as a CFI claiming to have no knowledge about his extra curricular (doing social media while flying) is probably lying to themselves or the NTSB. This should be a serious wake up call to general aviation/flight schools not to just push these types of pilots through without some serious checks and balances. Maturity level in aviation is priority #1 and clearly this video shows he wasn't a good pilot, friend nor instructor to 9 1/2.
