I am a fan of the s-class cabriolet since Styling Garage, Koenig Specials and a few more turned 500 & 560 SEC in taylormade dreams in the 80's.

I love the look of the cabriolet but i also think the roof line on the Coupe is the most beautiful design there is in any car so removing it is not for me. As much as i love it even if i could buy two, i'd rather have two Coupes than a Coupe and a Cabriolet. And the Coupe feels quite open with all windows down.

have you tried the Coupe? If so, is it more quiet than the cabriolet?
miklu26 ofc it's more quiet, but convertible version is also very quiet considering it's soft top

@@BrianMakse I'm trying to snag one for $90k, but there always seems to be some issue. If I were smart, I'd wait until the 2018 dropped to ~$90k, would you agree?
I actually can’t answer that one! I don’t recall if the ‘18 was fundamentally different than the ‘17.
@@BrianMakse It actually got a big facelift in 2018, which makes my quandary all the more frustrating. The C63 got a facelift in 2019, the S63 in 2018, and the SL63 in 2017.
So I'm S.O.L. lmao because I don't want to spend $90k on a new C63, when I could find a used S63 which has plummeted from $200k to $90k. But I want a facelifted 2018, which is still stupidly expensive ($150k+?).
Anyway...first world problems, which I'm happy to have. ;)
I wonder if the S500 wouldn't suit the car better. Did you get the chance to test that one, too?

Oh, that's a tough one, but realistically I'd probably spend the extra cash on a Continental.

Brian Makse Continentali is more cash because it is Bentley. It is not better car at all
I'll take the s63 all day, the Mercedes will last longer without major repairs compare to the bentley, also the interior of the bentley cant touch the s63

This AMG S63 has 585 hp and 900 nm torque, I’m surprised that nobody said anything about this in the comments.
Does the s63 have ambient lighting like some of the s classes?

FYI Many French cars have adjustable fragrance choices for over a decade already and the one in this Merc S63 comes from the $20K Renault Captur (Renault is a mercedes strategic partner)

That is an interesting fact. I wouldn't have paid extra for the fragrance system, but since it was included at no charge, I am happy to use it. I still have under 20k miles on my S63 AMG Cabrio and will never sell it. I wonder if Benz market different fragrances in Europe than in the States... now I will have to research this. A Renault F1 fragrance, an AMG Eau de Affalterbach🙂
