I think this is going to be another exciting year for Flock and for all of us that follow your adventures in building and gardening. Hope that you all had a lovely holiday season and ring in the new year with joy and anticipation.
So much to love about Flock. With Flock & WVBR 93.5 FM we here in Jax Beach FL get a steady dose of the regional vibe and love it. Best wishes for all the best in 2025!
I'm in suburban Philly and an avid gardener. The amount of deer browse is really depressing. It becomes discouraging. I appreciate your talk of how you deal with them.
We all need to buy gourmet deer jerky and venison. Seriously. Maybe Flock will consider it as a business. Maybe at least interview someone in that business - I think there are some out there.
Sounds amazing. Seeing what's been accomplished so far, I don't see any problem with your plans for 2025. You know I've only caught 5 or 6 videos from your channel and it's astounding on what's transpired it such a short time, I wishing you guys every dream to come true this year, it so deserved. That saying , hard work pays off, well you guys definitely took a bite out of that quote." Know one can control any outcome just the effort put forth". ❤ Thank you for sharing.
Happy new year folks :). I'm on similar acreage in England and love tuning in to see your progress - wondering if you have any other inspiring projects/channels you recommend following? p.s. we have major deer problems too, seems almost universal!
Happy New Year! I’m hoping you get the greenhouse of your dreams this year Summer! Can we meet your Mom the next time she Thanks Summer and Saunder for another great and inspiring year. Your videos are amazing!
Will you consider doing more aquatic gardening? One of my dreams is to own a pond so that I can grow some aquatic and semi-aquatic species. I am a particular fan of American Lotus and Acorus calamus.
Yes, we have some amazing natives growing around the main waterbody: th-cam.com/video/qayL960_trg/w-d-xo.html but we haven't really gotten around to landscaping all the waterbodies yet. Probably a 2026 project. We thought a floating garden project would be a very cool project for one of our future Garden Fellows here, so it's on the list after the Rock Garden project.
I was wondering what happened to the bulbs, I was looking forward to seeing 80,000 bulbs bloom. Perhaps another time. I can see how you would have so many ideas it could get crazy. I'm still always amazed at how hard you guys work when you are putting in a garden, or building something. It's been a beautiful journey.
Summer. The land looks so good! I have not watched any videos for years I think. The last I saw you were planting bulbs and stuff. Congratulations on a place superbly developed!
Thank you! Yes, that was a while back, if you mean the 80,000 bulbs. A lot has happened in the last couple years, we hope you enjoy watching the recap and look ahead. Happiest New Years to you.
If Sanders can’t get a perfect seal and mouse-less interior, no one can!! I have a historic home that I’m not gut renovating so I accept mice can come in and focus on making sure they don’t stay or become an infestation by making my home less inviting than the farther-away reaches of my yard. Surprisingly successful at keeping infestations out despite the occasional mouse or two and we also have hawks moving back into the neighborhood. I know where to look for their mousy poop to ensure my house hasn’t become their neighborhood.
Everything dies eventually. They can suffer from overpopulation or you can harvest them and enjoy the bounty around you. You can do your part and not feel guilty.
You two are just amazing. I am amazed at how much you did get done in 2024. You combine a whole range of skills between the two of you. Kudos.

you may have missed that episode of the 80,000 bulbs if you would like to see them in bloom: th-cam.com/video/QCsuuH01hEY/w-d-xo.html
@@FlockFingerLakes Thank you, I must have.
Happy New Year. -would a barn cat/dog would help keep mouse and deer in control?
How about getting guard dogs to scare away the deers?

What ever happened to the third land owner?

Summer Uds tienen la buena fortuna de hacer realidad el sueño de muchos 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Any chance there will be Quarterly Updates in 2025?
I think the right comparison for deer is more like rats. No matter how much like animals, you do not want an infestation of rats.
In my country - Moldova we have a record number of deers ( more than 1000 ) and its becoming a national problem
Sander…🙌🏻

Are you guys getting married next year?
