I really needed this advice... Thank you so much for this lesson. And for everyone on the same boat as me, keep calm, you are a great person and can achieve whatever you want with discipline.
Well said, I have a multitude of mental disabilities and I know deep down the reason I am in a rut is because I give up when things get tough. I know what I need to do but I just don't do it because I am overwhelmed by how much I need to work on.
@@Obsession3745 I can relate to this. I let deep depression and doubt run my life for so long. I wanted to change, but I gave up anytime something got hard. You can do it. Start small and keep trying. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.
@@xxdankmemes420xxakadave Well said. This is one of my favorite quotes from Dark souls. No matter what happens, don’t let despair dictate where your life goes.
Funny thing is that I think majority of those with low self-esteem have an idea that this truth is the way out of the pit, but ignore it for whatever reason.
@@timkimmel9935 I agree, it’s hard to accept the truth sometimes. That’s what I want to do with this channel. Tell everyone the hard truths I had to accept.
Dude.......I started playing Elden Ring in February of 2023. In June of 2023 I decided to quit smoking cigarettes after having smoked 2 packs a day for 30 years. I am now at over 1 year of quitting smoking and I have a gym membership that I go to every day. Since February of 2023 I have now played through every souls game except for 2. Going for platinum for 3 right now. Tl;DR Souls games can change your life if you let them. Glad we both learned the same lesson.
@@angbald That is so fucking awesome man good shit! Smoking is one of the hardest things to quit, mad props to you. Souls games do have a way of teaching us that difficulty and strife lead to the outcomes we want. Definitely play 2 at some point, i didn’t love it at first, but it grew on me. Proud of you brother
I do get the point "Think of who youre gonna be after it", but, just saying there are some bad things that have happened to me in my life I probably could have gone without.

For someone that is just as miserable after playing the Soulsborne franchise but found difficulty and pain to be a necessity, I do hope you well. I think I'll take a bit of this advice and use it to fuel me. To hopefully push me into a place I can enjoy myself again.
@@kanseidorifto2430 I appreciate the kind words. It’s hard to accept, but pain and adversity are the things that build us up into who we are. Without all the deaths and failures in a soulsborne game, you would never become the player you are at the end. I wish you the best💪
