Episode III's ending is beautifully bittersweet. It's heartbreaking to see how Padme died & Anakin turned, but their juxtaposition to their children given to their adoptive parents really tugged at my heartstrings.
0:45-1:21 I can just picture the scene in my head when obi wan hands over Luke to his aunt beru, she walks over to Owen and they stare at the sunset while obi wan stands there at a distance then walks away, knowing that Luke will be that new hope for the galaxy someday.
yeah like i get annoyed when people say the prequeals "suck" or they are "stupid" because their not, their actually really good and in my opinion it was a great idea to release them after the movies 4, 5, and 6.
I get annoyed when people say that the sequels "suck" etc. I really enjoyed the sequels, as much as I always enjoy original trilogy and the prequels. Episodes 7 and 9 are one of my favourites episodes of the whole Star Wars saga. I enjoyed the plot (okay, except The Lat Jedi), I liked the characters including Rey and Kylo Ren, I shipped Reylo, I enjoyed the soundtrack. And I hate when people are hating the sequels, the actors and people who really liked this trilogy just because in their opinion those movies "suck".
best end credits by far. felt fulfilled yet saddened and never thought I'd see SW again for another 20 years, never had that feeling ever since, i do have it slightly whenever I watch it again because of the memories. So far I don't see myself feeling the same at the end of Ep.IX, sadly.
The prequels.......wether you love them or hate them.....you gotta admit they had amazing and emotional soundtrack.....and remember, the force will be with you...always...
Matt Beutner I often find The Lord of The Rings to have a better, if not equally good soundtrack. There are certainly soundtracks of equal quality. Just look at Prokofiev's Battle on The Ice.
@@jasonfenton8250 Lord of the Rings music and Star Wars music works so well in the opposite of each other too, put Lord of the Rings music over Star Wars or Star Wars music over Lord of the Rings, it's incredible how well they fit together, I find Star Wars to have a little bit more variety in it's music at times, yes they all have the Star Wars theme in them at some point or whatever but just listen to The Fellowship's music, almost all of them are the same as Knife in the Dark. I'm not saying I don't love both I'm just saying that Lord of the Rings seems to lack variety at times.
I will never let down on Star Wars, i have been growing up with it, and most importantly about Star Wars in general, is the music! It fill us with alot of emotions and feelings that will never be forgotten, we're within the force, we all have it... And it's strong
When I went to the theatre with high expectations and left the theatre, I was not the same. I will always remember that moviegoing experience for the rest of my entire life.
thank you John Williams for making the soundtrack of Star Wars. without you there was no star wars. thank you for all the epic, sad and beautiful moments of sound, and may the force be with you. may all luck be with you making the soundtrack for episode 7.
That scene after it Darth Vader and the Emperor was shown looking out at the construction of the Death Star was a sad scene where showed Leia Skywalker turning into Leia Organa and Luke was being sent to Owen and Rue. After all, Padme was killed by Darth Vader and the children were split up and left with families that weren't even supposed to be with from the start. If Anakin would have let Master Windu kill the Emperor it would have been able to save Anakin and Padme. Obi Wan would have helped Anakin. And the Sith would been extinguished and the Empire would have never existed.
i think this movie had the best ending out of all six. just seing that famous shot with the two suns at dusk and then the credits show up with the loud music just brought goosebumps all over. it opens up the original trilogy.
That's a composition technique called a "motif" where you use a chunk of music across a composition (or composition series in this case) to represent a person or place or something. John Williams uses motif quite a bit in his works.
I was more referring to how the arrangement is lifted from this version specifically. The clarinets and everything play the same exact notes which aren't in any prior version of this motif.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been a Star Wars fan for as far back as I can remember. It's always been my fantasy home, even if I was just some smuggler running wildly through the galaxy. I absolutely LOVE Star Wars and its music. Actually, don't accept that definition of my feelings. IN-DE- SCRIBABLE. Like really... I can't tell you how much I love it.
Obi Wan was the chosen one. He defeated Darth Maul, revealed the clone army, which was given to sidious, Defeated Greivious, Defeated Darth Vader, Protected Luke and then transcended into the force to guide Luke lol.
José Barbante - there is no such thing as a TRUE fan. Your a fan, you dont have to be a fan of all of it, i like all of it (including the prequels and sequels) i like the clone wars, rebels, EU, KOTOR, etc. I shouldnt be judged for liking that and peolple shouldnt get all triggered about it
At 0:08 there was a piece in the movie where the Tantive IV is landing on Alderaan, it included the Force theme but is cut from the official soundtrack. I can never find an extended version with that in it. But this still is a beautiful composition. :)
I think both trilogies are good, I grew up with the prequels but as soon as I actually got into Star Wars I went straight for the original trilogy which was very good! The Clone Wars is okay and the Rebels program coming soon seems a bit promising. It's all just more Star Wars and I can't complain and I don't think people should!
+Raphael Malanconi The same thing I thought as I heard this part again! It's called "The Throne Room". Looking around on TH-cam we don't seem to be the only one using this as a wedding song :D!
John Williams must have thought that Ep3 would be the last of Starwars, because he used many tunes from New Hope although they are not used in Ep3. I hope he will make a great end title for Ep9 which can impress all fans like one of Ep3.
I love in the story they keep saying that Anakin is the chosen one, then he loses faith in the Jedi and he becomes a Sith. But in the end he still lives up to the legend and destroys the Sith after years of walking the Dark Side of the Force. Great story hope the Sequels will become just as great :D
Such beautiful music, and yet, listening to it makes me so sad because episode III was DEPRESSING. :-( It was an awesome movie, don't get me wrong, but I mean the entire Jedi Order dies, Anakin gets baked, Obi's stuck on Tatooine.. it's sad!!
this is the saddest star wars movie ever. i remember when i first saw it a guy in a jedi costume cried during order 66 and the last 10 minutes of the movie
Episode III's ending is beautifully bittersweet. It's heartbreaking to see how Padme died & Anakin turned, but their juxtaposition to their children given to their adoptive parents really tugged at my heartstrings.
Which then later begins the original trilogy story.
0:45-1:21 I can just picture the scene in my head when obi wan hands over Luke to his aunt beru, she walks over to Owen and they stare at the sunset while obi wan stands there at a distance then walks away, knowing that Luke will be that new hope for the galaxy someday.
he probably thought "fuck, where do i sleep 2nite?"
yeah like i get annoyed when people say the prequeals "suck" or they are "stupid" because their not, their actually really good and in my opinion it was a great idea to release them after the movies 4, 5, and 6.
They were amazing movies for certain. Greatest movies.
I get annoyed when people say that the sequels "suck" etc.

Lol Topkek yes you feel saddened because you wont see another starwars movie after 20 but after 2 years
Jakub Březina *FATIGUE*
The prequels.......wether you love them or hate them.....you gotta admit they had amazing and emotional soundtrack.....and remember, the force will be with you...always...
00:30 feels so nostalgic. You can feel the beginning of something good. You know the fight is not over!!!
I don't care what anybody says. Star Wars has the best movie scores of all time. If you disagree, you're wrong. It's just that simple.
Matt Beutner I often find The Lord of The Rings to have a better, if not equally good soundtrack. There are certainly soundtracks of equal quality. Just look at Prokofiev's Battle on The Ice.
It is but, Lord o the Rings is close though to claim the best scores of all time as well.
I agree with you however Transformers had some damm good scores as well. Michael Gucciano is a genius.

Avengers?? Forge/ portals was very good!

FINALLY. I had 0:53-1:20 in my head for months and wasnt sure from where i know it. THANKS
you're not the only one :D
+Jan Herfs It's Binary Sunset.
When I went to the theatre with high expectations and left the theatre, I was not the same. I will always remember that moviegoing experience for the rest of my entire life.

***** But then... no point to the other three movies... This movie needed to be done. #FullCircle
[Sigh] true
But still, very sad.
***** It was Jar Jar's fault to begin with.
How was it Jar Jar's fault?
Really captures the feeling of hope.
This makes me cry !!! Best star wars movie
Listening to this on Surround Sound does things I didn’t know music could do to me
00:45-01:21 I cry everytime I hear this moment :'(
*****
The Force Theme
*****
You're welcome ;)
Star Wars Rebels used this :)
Mee too
These songs are the reason why I actually sit through the whole credits, some of the songs are surprisingly joyful despite the depressing ending. :o
Palpatine: "I'm too weak. Don't kill me please!"
Anakin: "Hmm, guess he can't help me then. Master Windu, you may proceed."
Palpatine: "Shit"
1:23
I remember when this was supposed to be the last Star Wars movie and this part was always so emotional.
This is the reason why I sit through Star Wars credits. xD
i think this movie had the best ending out of all six. just seing that famous shot with the two suns at dusk and then the credits show up with the loud music just brought goosebumps all over. it opens up the original trilogy.
0:35-0:38 made look away. It made me feel bad for Obi Wan. Anakin was his "brother, he loved him."
GOD BLESS STARWARS!!
9:01-9:17 This part burst me into tears...
I know, it was so sad
0:29
The transition at 3:57 is great.
1:23 - (cries tears of relief) Oh, thank the Jedi it's all over!! IT'S ALL OVER!!!
Revenge of the Sith was good...
***** I know. It's just when you're having a marathon, you feel so relieved to finally finish all the prequels.
+Tommy Dee Fair enough
I love how the same part from 0:53 was reused in TFA because both are played when Luke is shown as "a new hope"
bauerklos - You can see it in Lukes face. "Ah fuck Im their last hope again arent I?"
"gotta deal with this shit again, don't I?"
bauerklos music it is because is the Light Force theme maybe?

2:34 RIP Carrie Fisher :(
0:53 :') And so begins A New Hope
Carlos Elias Carranza Mendoza Yay! The better movies
I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been a Star Wars fan for as far back as I can remember. Its probably just me but I always get goosebumps at the end where Luke,s theme transitions to the Force theme
I loved this movie.
I think "Battle of the Heroes" Is In this track.
yeah there's quite a few put together it works really well
Man, i wish that was used in Force Awakens. And maybe Last Jedi.
4:07
for some reason, whenever i listened to the last track of this CD, it would always warm my heart, and give me that old STAR WARS feeling
0:24 - 0:41 small little moments in a song , that can make your ears dream !
I would not describe that better
Orlando Marron that part is so calming to my ears 😍
@MaitoMike It is called Binary Sunset, it was first heard in A New Hope when Luke looks out at the two suns setting...
@rscool7 It's called The Arena. It's actually on the Episode 2 soundtrack but they didn't play all of it during the movie
0:28 - 0:44 is one of the best little moments in a soundtrack I've ever heard.
This scene is a perfect foreshadow to Episode IV.
2:30 - 4:00 best part of the credits
Tracklist: /parts/
0:46-1:22 Binary Sunset
1:23-2:21 SW Ending theme
2:22-3:57 Plans for the Twins (longer edition?)
3:58-6:43 Battle of the Heroes
6:44-9:00 The Throne Room (EP.IV.)
In my opinion, Luke was the real Chosen One.
philliesphreak10 I thought so too.
No not really because it was anikin who killed the emperor not luke, luke just set Vader back on the right path
philliesphreak10 no, Anakin fulfilled the prophecy. Luke had a very huge purpose though in my opinion.
Well in my opinion Jar Jar is the Chosen One. See, both of those statements are equally false. You can have your little headcanon though.
Obi Wan was the chosen one. He defeated Darth Maul, revealed the clone army, which was given to sidious, Defeated Greivious, Defeated Darth Vader, Protected Luke and then transcended into the force to guide Luke lol.
A true Star Wars fan likes both. The prequels and sequels. Including expanded universe, clone wars, KOTOR. He likes the entire universe
people could like or dislike whatever they want even if there a huge fan of it
+José Barbante lol if you're incapable of viewing a franchise you enjoy critically you're a fucking manchild.
+José Barbante Do you count Holiday Special in?
José Barbante - there is no such thing as a TRUE fan. Your a fan, you dont have to be a fan of all of it, i like all of it (including the prequels and sequels) i like the clone wars, rebels, EU, KOTOR, etc. I shouldnt be judged for liking that and peolple shouldnt get all triggered about it
If u complain about anyting u r not a tru fan
I get chills from 0:30 - 0:45, and also from 0:53 onwards!!! 😊😊😊
"Look to the stars for Hope Burns Bright"
1:05-1:20 is the best part of the song. The best song of the saga in and of itself. So many incredible emotions in fifteen seconds.
I used to play the trumpet in school and I tell ya, one of the epicest moments of was playing this in front of the whole school :D
i love star wars
How it all began... Superb music
At 0:08 there was a piece in the movie where the Tantive IV is landing on Alderaan, it included the Force theme but is cut from the official soundtrack. I can never find an extended version with that in it. But this still is a beautiful composition. :)
3:58 - 6:40 Just amazing in every way.
At 3:58, it really brought out the entire song.
@rscool7 The theme is from AOTC the track is called "The Arena Battle"...It lasts almost 11'
Starting@ 0:53 is my favorite
Same
00:45-01:20
Listen to after beating SWTOR Class Quest Line, feels more awesome that way
hey thanks for uploading!
Oh this is amazing, LOUDER!
-iPad is maxed volume-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I hate when this movie ends, but i really love the credits soundtrack

You should read the Expanded Universe books they are badass and awesome not cheesy or stupid like star wars rebels
0:50-1:22 actually brought tears to my eyes on the movie...It's an indiscribable feeling.
@FlyingFocs
I am pretty sure that it's in The Phantom Menace soundtrack, where everyone is at Qui-Gon's funeral pyre.
@rscool7 its called Jedi Temple March (I have seen it as March on the Jedi temple, etc too) but I cant seem to find it in the soundtrack lol
@rscool7 It's from episode 2, it's called Love Pledge and the Arena
No other movie made me feel the way this one made me feel in the ending.
2:22-3:58 Is my favorite part of the credits
leia Theme :)
Yes. Thank you. I came here just for that. Everyone else talking about other parts. This one gives me so much nostalgia.
0:27 split me up into tears, because it occured to me that I would never see a great/good Star Wars movie again
06:44 The song of my future mariage
+Raphael Malanconi The same thing I thought as I heard this part again! It's called "The Throne Room". Looking around on TH-cam we don't seem to be the only one using this as a wedding song :D!

I hope he will make a great end title for Ep9 which can impress all fans like one of Ep3.
2:30 to 4:00, the best part of the entire film score. Such a beautiful, modern rendition of Leia's Theme.
Star Wars episode 3 is BEST movie because it is Anakin Skywalker.
I disagree. Empire strikes back is probably the best StarWars movie
Dylan Morgan five is the worst from the 6
+Jakub Březina get out
This part of the movie is probably my favourite in the whole saga.
This brings back memories
the circle is now complete...
I love in the story they keep saying that Anakin is the chosen one, then he loses faith in the Jedi and he becomes a Sith. But in the end he still lives up to the legend and destroys the Sith after years of walking the Dark Side of the Force. Great story hope the Sequels will become just as great :D
star wars is the only movie where everyone sits and watches the credits just to listen to the music
Dear Anikan: one often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it
In fact, it's Princess Leia's theme from Episode IV.
may the force be with all of us
wow now i am crying listing to order 66 the jedi all dying then listing too this sad and happy
2:25 - 4:00The BEST!!
Episode 3 effectively ended the saga where it began for all of us: on a desert world with a young boy destined for a life changing journey.
If you didn't cry at the end of this movie then you have no soul.
simplemente espectacular! los pelos de punta!
masterpiece
THE BEST STAR WARS SONG
STAR WARS HAS THE BEST END CREDITS
Such beautiful music, and yet, listening to it makes me so sad because episode III was DEPRESSING. :-( It was an awesome movie, don't get me wrong, but I mean the entire Jedi Order dies, Anakin gets baked, Obi's stuck on Tatooine.. it's sad!!
The first part sounds so Disney... I adore it.
wonderful soundtrack
Just from the beginning to 1:23 always gets me right in their (especailly from 0:45-1:23). John Williams is a god.
THE BEGINNING OF THIS SONG MAKE ME CRY IN FACT 0:50 MAKE ME CRY
Imagine the ending of episode 9 sounds like this, with Ben and Rey looking out into the sunset as the force theme plays. Please JJ, please.
Say no to reylo
for me, it is linked to the episode IV which is the A New Hope and may this legacy long last
this is the saddest star wars movie ever. i remember when i first saw it a guy in a jedi costume cried during order 66 and the last 10 minutes of the movie
07:04 - 07:40 OMG THIS IS EPIC!!!
I thought that of all six movies, this track has the most awkward transition to the closing theme. All others' transition to closing were seamless.
called "The Throne Room", would normally be part of the end credits on most cds, etc of episode 4
ah yes love that scene...oh star wars.
"Well then you're lost!"
You can hear this exact same tune right before the credits of The Last Jedi when the kid is holding up the broom
one of best parts 1:01
