FINALLY uploading part one of this tutorial series I promised my few subscribers, and fellow redditors, four and a half months ago...
Sorry for the wait - I did not realize how many things I could do wrong when trying to make a tutorial. Now that I've got the flow down, and have learned from my many mistakes, the following tutorials in this series should be coming out at a much faster rate than this one did (and of course the series on my Moebius style shader after that)

The blend file for this video can be downloaded here: gumroad.com/l/gHnXo
(it's free, but feel free to donate something and support me!)
If you don't want to wait for the whole series you can purchase the finished Shaders here:

If you post any artwork using my shaders all I ask is that you add a note guiding people back to this channel. A lot of time and work went into making these and I'd like for it to pay off somehow - thanks.
Special thanks to Kristof Dedene and Lightningboy Studio for inspiring me to make these shaders and show others how; and of course to Andrew Price for showing my how to make a donut back in 2017.

Thank you for this, this got me to do some 3D doodling after a long break, its a gamechanger for me.
Amazingly clear and concise tutorial. Will be looking forward to part 2.
Can't wait to try it out
Suhweeeet. Looking forward to next parts and especially that Moebius sauce later 🙌
Bro...your moebius inspired pic that even replicated his method of shading blew my mind. I did a double take - I thought it was a real illustration (if not Giraud himself) and had to confirm for myself it wasn't by further examination.
yeah, I was looking for a tutorial about moebius style (in blender) !
Great stuff, can't wait for more!
Simply wonderful
Thank you so much for this... I really wanted to explore a more illustrated style in 3d that helped focus more on the models and depth of the shapes rather than mimicking realism... this is the answer
wow!!! Thank you sooo much!
Very good tut, thank you!
Thanks dude
awesome
This is an amazing tutorial! Thank you so much! Are you also going to go over how you do your lineart?
Thanks! and yes, part of this series will cover how I make the outlines of the models and in the textures
