- Skills level 10,000 including luck. Playing through a few days on a new farm with these insane skills makes for an interesting result.. Basically only limited by the time in a day and that means you can get a LOT done. Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

The fishing thing probably thinks you're casting across the entire world because the higher your level the farther you can cast. You are casting further than what can be visibly displayed. If you just tapped the button to cast instead of filling the bar it might work

10:20 any crop behind the first crop you harvest is always regular quality no matter what, so every parsnip was gold + an extra regular one
That's the reason why buying fertilizer is less inefficient with crops that produce multiple things per plant (like blueberries) than crops that produce only one thing per harvest (like melons)
What would grandpa's evaluation be if you had level 10,000 on every skill and did nothing else for two years?

So I think this is interesting cause it proves that there is a small chance amplified by farming skill that you could get an extra harvest of any crop. I noticed this while harvesting my ancient fruit but couldn't find anything on the wiki to support my theory.

Must be a pretty dismally small chance then. For years I've harvested my 116 ancient fruits from the greenhouse and put them into 116 kegs in a barn next door, and not once have I ever had an extra ancient fruit. If it's luck that might make more sense, because a lucky lunch is a huge boost compared to any daily luck value, and I've never harvested crops with luck buffs.
The chances are pretty slim. Outta 512 starfruits you might get 3 or four extra with the lucky lunch. One or two if you use spicy eel. This also depends on the daily luck. Only reason I’ve tested spicy eel is the sheer size of starfruit. But crops that don’t produce extras have a tiny chance for extras with luck. But 3 more starfruit from the lucky lunch is about 2000g less then without it. And I also keg so it could be even more gold

New idea for you: often when players find the Slingshot in the mine they put that in the chest and forgets about it. Challenge for you find a plenty of uses for Slingshot. Go to skull cavern with Slingshot as a weapon.

I think the fishing is broken because the fishing bar is bigger than the actual area at that level so it kinda just commits not alive.

Hi there, DF, do you know about the meadery? I found this about a year ago, done some research, doesn't seem like people take it into account, but, if you don't know and want to try, it's not an exploit per se, but, here's how it works:
0 - get Artisan, change into it, whatever, and fix the bus;
1 - get 1000 kegs, put them wherever it pleases you;
2 - get 1MG;
3 - every friday Oasis will sell honey, buy 5k honeys;
4 - process the honey with the kegs;
5 - in a VERY optimistic estimation, you'll sleep for about 12000h, so next thursday you'll have 5k mead, no honey, no money, sell the mead;
6 - now you have 1.4MG, 400kG profit, or 40% profit;
Obviously it works with any amount of honey/mead above 3, since 3 is the bare minimum to be worth doing... But, well, I didn't take into account the many many kegs you'll have to make. But, well, there it is, something for you to try if you haven't yet.

Love these videos!! Also wanted to say thank you for that krobus multiple buy and sell for extra profit!! I’m in year 4 on my mobile farm and that helps sooo much!! Also if you click on whatever your buying from krobus and buy 4 you can buy two stacks from him so 8 each click on him didn’t know if you knew that but it’s been making it faster and easier for me to buy from him that way

Wow, I really thought with luck like that crazy stuff would happen (like the world filled with plants, artifacts everywhere, other madness) it was fairly tame all things considered. I guess I overestimated how much luck can change the world itself. Thanks for making the video! It was really interesting to see what happens, always enjoy these type of 'push the limit' ideas.
Can you check the arcade with your Luck? I'm fairly sure Luck affects the pickup rate at the Praire King, didn't try Junimo Cart tho.

When you harvest something that drops multiple items, the items that drop on the ground will always be regular quality. Source: I keep coffee plants in my greenhouse, which automatically drop 2 or 3 beans when harvested.

Fishing skill decreases bite time, it's possible that you have negative bite time (which would understandably break the game)

I found fishing harder on the PC version than the console version. I started playing on the Switch. And yes the Wednesday and Saturday exploit does work on the Switch version

May I suggest making a macro for spaming the level ups the next time you do this? It would be a very easy 1 or 3 line macro if you did it and only take seconds to make... save you a ton of clicking.
Doesn’t the luck restart everyday
I got a glitch one time on the Switch version where the Rod sound wouldn't stop, I think I ended up having to close the game and reopen it.
Fishing fails due the calculation failing when determining the length of the fishing bar.

I feel like that when your skills reach a certain point they either *roll back to 0* and continue on to what ever the *max out number is* only to go back to 0. A loop that just keeps going on and on. OR it has a kind of *negative* effect to *positive* and back.
You may need to find that *golden number* where you net a higher quality of crop and such. Also why didn't you get the backpack sooner?

The problem with fishing is the higher your skill, the further you cast, and the rods have limits on how far you're allowed to cast them. When you're casting a bamboo rod as far as an iridium rod normally goes, you are going to break the line, so your character reels it in. Try not casting all the way to the max if you try this in your playthroughs.
.... What happens in salmonberry or blackberry season? You collect an extra berry at foraging 4, 8 and 12. Would this continue until 10,000 resulting in 2500~ berries per bush?
You should do a video where the person you have to give a present to for the feast of the winter star is someone you JUST divorced like the day before.

DF, invest in that sweet Joys of Efficiency mod. Lets you water crops in a limited radius by walking over it automatically, amongst other things :v

Pretty sure everything extra you're getting is based on luck. The main stat lines only affect proficiency and quality.
Pretty interesting results though. I thought the chance at bonus crops was a flat % based on the crop. You should try this with potatoes. Potatoes are a crop that rolls for extra crops until you don't succeed. So if they are affected by luck, you could get infinite potatoes theoretically. Even without cheats, luck stacking with Lucky Lunch and a max luck day may make potatoes very profitable if they are actually affected by luck.

The higher level fishing you are the faster you reel in fish, but maybe it’s calculated by subtracting a number rather than multiplying it by a number less than one. That could lead to negative reel time for super high levels which would maybe cause this?
You should get a mod made that spawns forage items in so you can get the maximum amount of foraging every day and see what that looks like in each season. :)
How do you boost your stats like that? Ive been able to do it for fishing but not for the other stats.

Okay, so with my extremely brief experience with coding, the computer does EXACTLY what you tell it to, and makes no assumptions. I don't know what ConcernedApe programmed it to recognize, but it's possible it doesn't register numbers over a certain point. There is likely some limit to how overpowered you can become due to higher numbers not being programmed. Because it showed results with levels such as 100, it's possible that the computer only managed to registers up to that point.
