The worrying thing is, Saracens are the best English club atm and champions, but when they played La Rochelle they got battered. Shows the gulf in class between Prem and Top14.
@@squid4451but you have to take in the fact that we had a few injuries that game with Christie, McFarland and Billy V going off injured decimating our back row and Daly as well which hindered our attacking game as he links so well with Farrell so I'm sure it'd be a lot closer this season as we've even bolstered our options with Tom Willis and Gonzalez as well
@@squid4451 and Exeter played them and nearly beat them. Plus Saracens competed fine that game but just weren’t clinical and La Rochelle were. Plus Botia was on a different level that day. Everyone exaggerates this gap between the top 14 and premiership, it’s really not that big

The inability of the officials to police the offside at the maul by the Leicester backs could have stopped Saracens form getting another 20 points.
