    Thanks for that Doctor. Elucidating, educating, and just an all round good hour spent comfortably learning new things and refreshing the memory on things already learned. Id say thats time deliberately well spent. Cheers

    There are Olia silicone pads that you can sleep with on your chest area that help keep in moisture in your skin and temporary get rid of wrinkles between breast area, usually due to when brests flop via gravity, and squeezed together when sleeping on your side.

    Please talk about mask acne. There are different suggestions online: some dermatologists suggest applying a thick barrier cream/balm/ointment to act as a barrier between skin & mask, while some dermatologists suggest using only lightweight product (gel moisturizer/hydrating serum) under the mask to reduce occlusion because the mask is already occlusive and trap the moisture from breath and sweat. So should we choose thick or light product when wearing mask?

    You are so funny and informative. I am almost 58 and going back to school to become an esthetician. You were young once??? That's funny. I have atypical psoriasis on my legs and going to get a biopsy this month. I try to watch all your videos to catch something on psoriasis.

    If you do another video on devices, can you speak about radio frequency devices. I have been using the NEWA and I actually feel like I’m seeing an improvement but I started using IR/NIR light at about the same time so I can’t be certain which (or both) may be contributing. Thanks!

    Fissures on the corners of the mouth can also be caused by a Vit. B deficiency. I can’t recall the exact B vitamin off the top of my head, but it would be wise for someone to take a B supplement.

    I’ve heard if you put hyaluronic acid on dry (not damp) skin and live in a dry climate it can make dry skin worse. Is it the same for lip products with hyaluronic acid in them? Such as a lip gloss or lip treatment/balm

    • @titiavandeneertwegh3170
      @titiavandeneertwegh3170 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Ashley, as you would top hyaluronic acid on the face with something to lock the moisturise in, you should lock in the goodness on your lips.
      A lip balm with hyaluronic acid? I don't see how the acid could penetrate the heavy oils, wax or petroleum.

    One more question, how do you feel about the efficacy of K- beauty sunscreens? I think their formulas are so elegant but the FDA does not recognize the ingredients to be sun protectants?

    • @waschbaer888
      @waschbaer888 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Europeans who exclusively use European sunscreen products which aren't approved by the FDA aren't dying from skin cancer by the millions or have a pervasive skin damage problem derived from UV rays in general, neither do Koreans or Japanese people. Therefore, European, Korean and Japanese sunscreens are safe to use and provide the same, if not better level of protection compared to American against UV light.

    • @sophiak8687
      @sophiak8687 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sunscreen is an important component of minimising sun damage, but also many people in East Asia are very careful to minimise sun exposure during the day. I.e. wearing long sleeves and skirts/trousers, using a parasol, staying indoors during the midday, etc. So while these sunscreens may be great for the average consumer in these places, if you are not engaging in sun-minimising behaviours you may require a very high SPF/a water resistant formulation and frequent reapplication.
