- This was an amazing trip to Taiwan with Sam Pilgrim to create the first of the brand new GoodYear wing foot dirt jump tyres that I've been lucky enough to have input on and test ride for the first time. We took our dirt jump bikes in the hunt for trails, pump tracks, skateparks and urban street spots. And we managed to find most of them around the awesome country. Sam Pilgrim is well known for his skatepark riding and it became clear when we discovered this completely abandoned skatepark with a huge half pipe, ramps and features that we hardly rideable. Enjoy the carnage.

Watching Matt get involved in the tyre making process gives me so much confidence in the Helfare stuff as well. Passion shines through in the product.
Yeah, having worked in many factories over the years, I appreciated the tour and it felt like Matt was genuinely into the process. I imagine no one could convince Sam to get involved too and he said he'd rather just summon some magic outside afterwards instead! Loved the post apocalyptic skatepark, the pumpy motorway and all those magnificent temples too.

I rode those tires 20 years ago when I raced BMX. They were called Siren and were built by a company called IRC.
Wonder if Goodyear bought the molds from IRC????

The wingfoot dirt looks familiar, reminds me of the Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tires on my DJ. Rounded tires with 7 lateral microknobs with a dimple in the middle of each. Except wingfoot is a much cooler name to have on the sidewall.

Could you leave the fence/hedges in and build at least one jump that riders clear the hedge? Like put the take off one side and the landing on the other side, think how sick it would look from the top to see riders disappear the other side of the hedge and then reappear back into the main line! So many options! So sick
